~Y/n P.O.V.~

As the next morning arrived and my alarm clock ringed I immediately jumped up and texted Tenko.

Good morning Tenko
You're comming today right?

Good morning :>
You're in a huge hurry today
But yeah I will just like I said yesterday

As I put my phone down, satisfied with the first thing I did in the morning and then got ready. I did my usual morning routine, aye my breakfast and headed to school. I saw Kokichi first as always and then spotted Tenko.

"TENKOO!" I yelled as I ran to her. I picked her up by her waist as I put her down again after twirling around.
"Woah did you miss me that much?" She asked me.
"Well duh, 1. you're my girlfriend. 2. the last time I saw you was on Saturday. On. Saturday. You hear me? Like 3 days ago. 3. Days. Of course I would miss you." I moved my hands with every word I said. Tenko giggled in response,"Naww you're so sweet Y/n." She then hugged me as I hugged her back.

We three talked a bit more until we realised we will be late for class. Instead of dropping Kokichi off, we all made a run for it. As we arrived in class, Miss Yukizome was already inside, starting to teach everyone new useless stuff.
"Y/n? Tenko? Why are you two late?" She asked us.
"I'm sorry Miss Yukizome. We talked in front of the school building and forgot the time."
She sighed,"It's fine. Just don't repeat this again. You can go and sit down."
We walked onto our seats and sat down as she continued her class.

After class was finally finished we headed off to Kokichi's classroom to pick them up as always. But this time he actually had someone he walked with. A guy with green hair and nice eyelashes as well as some accessories was standing near them. "Hello Y/n-chan! I made a new friend! They just transferred here from another school." He said. "Hello I'm Amami Rantaro. Nice to meet you. As you probably heard it out already, please refer to me with they/them."
I nodded,"Nice to meet you Amami-san. I'm L/n Y/n, refer to me as they/them too." I said, trying to seem polite.
"I'm Chabashira Tenko, she/her." Tenko quickly said.

We then walked a bit together, we figured that Amami-san was walking our way as well so we decided to walk in a group of 4. Tenko said she would sleep over at my house today. As we walked a bit together and dropped Kokichi off, Amami-san said that they need to take the opposite way than we do, so we said goodbye to them both and started to walk our way.
Amami-san seems like a nice and chill guy, a leader type nonetheless.

As we arrived at home we turned on the TV to see Danganronpa 51 taking its end. "Danganronpa 51 has come to an end and we are from now on taking some new participants in it. Please go to Tokyo City centre where Team Danganronpa has its seat and apply there to be part of Danganronpa 52."
I groaned,"I've heard this same sentence for so many times now I'm about to vommit."
Tenko snickered,"I agree. They could atleasy change the sentence. Jeez, like it's getting so annoying after such a long time."
"How long has it been already? A decade? Maybe even longer?" I asked.
"I think its been 9 years now." Tenko said.
"Holy shit..."

As we then drifted off to random topics, my brain drifted off to the day before, on why she wasn't at school or where she was that the message didn't deliver. After the conversation died down I decided to ask her. "Hey Tenko... I know you dont want to talk about this yet and I'm sorry bring this up again but... why didn't you come to school yesterday and why weren't you at home either?"
Tenko looked at the ground as she sighed,"I'm sorry Y/n, I really want to tell you more but... I can't right now. Like I said yesterday, once the right time arrives I will tell you."
"But when will the 'right time' arrive?"
"Once I'm ready to tell you, Y/n. Now please, drop the subject."

Unsatisfied with the answer, I still didn't want to pressure her. If she says she's not ready then I need to accept that.
"Tenko, promise me one thing though."
"What is it?"
"Promise me that you're not in danger and promise me that if you get into trouble that you will tell me about it."
She smiled,"It's sweet of you that you care so much but you really don't have to worry. I promise that I'm not in danger." After saying that she kissed my cheek.

"I love you Y/n, so so much. So please, trust me in this."
I blushed lightly,"Okay... I will. I love you too."
