You were waiting in front of the elevators to go down. You probably could've taken a faster path, but you weren't in a hurry. Blizzard wasn't that much of a threat.

"Yo, you seem pretty strong," a voice said from behind you. You easily recognized it as the strong presence from before.

"I guess," you replied, "Though strength is subjective to each person." There was a small beat of silence where neither of you talked.

"Are you here to beat me up like you did to the others?" You asked, turning your head slightly to look behind you. "Garou?" He only smirked at you.

"This is great," he said, and you could feel an insatiable bloodlust radiate from him. "Being able to crush the Association's Class-S Rank 5 hero in my debut."

"Your fighting is more physical than anything," you replied, "So you have a good chance. If you can actually touch me." The floor under his feet curled and wrapped around his ankles before pulling him down and crashing him through several floors.

"Idiot." The elevator dinged and you walked onto it, completely ignoring what the hell just happened.

~
When you walked closer to Saitama's apartment, you noticed how beaten up and battered the surrounding area was. You arrived at the bridge that looked directly over Saitama's complex. When you stood on the edge, you saw Saitama, Genos, Blizzard, and Sonic.

"Oi, what the hell are you four doing?" You called down.

"Sensei!" Genos exclaimed.

"Oh, Y/n," Saitama greeted. Your eyes moved over to Blizzard.

"How embarrassing," you spoke loudly. Her eyes widened. "Talk about inferiority complex. Mad you don't live up to your sister?"

"That's--!"

"--true, I know." You jumped from the bridge and onto the ground. "Now, Sonic why are you here?"

"Oh, this is even better," Sonic said, and you noticed his hair had been cut. You blinked at him.

"Do we really have to go through what we did earlier?" You asked exasperately.

"What happened earlier?" Saitama asked. You flicked your hand to the side, and Sonic was thrown for miles, clouds of dust and rumbling following him.

"That."

After that fun experience, Genos had invited Blizzard into his apartment--and for her to explain herself.

"I could never make it to number one," she started, "I had intelligence, stamina, street smarts, and I was born an ESPer. I should be standing at the top! If only it weren't for her... my older sister and the world's most powerful esper--Tatsumaki."
You looked up from your mug with a scowl.

"Because of her, I'd never been number one in anything my entire life. So when I became Class B, Rank 1, I got to thinking... I'd remain in that position to control the heroes of Class B and below and surpass my sister, who only acts independently."

"Mm, nothing like a one-sided sibling rivalry," you spoke.

"That little--... Terrible Tornado is Class S. Why don't you aim for Class A, rank 1?" Genos asked.

"Class A is out of the question," Blizzard replied. "It'd be no problem climbing the rank of Class A, but I could never become rank 1. Never."

"I think I know why," you spoke up, "Class A Rank 4, Bushi Drill, Rank 3, Okama Itachi, Rank 2, Iairon--even though they're all direct disciples of Atomic Samurai, they can't break through to Class S. Mostly because of Amai Mask--whom they can't surpass ."

"Exactly," Blizzard agreed., "This world is rife with unimaginable monsters. You are quite a monster yourself." She was talking to Genos.

"But not to the level of Amai Mask or my sister. There's also King, who they call the strongest man, and Blast, who stands atop the hero world. They're monsters even among monsters. For us, it's difficult to advance on our own abilities. So what's wrong with banding together?"

"Nothing, really," Saitama replied, reading a book. "But I don't think I'll become one of your underlings."

"Because you're strong?" She huffed. "You'll never move up the rankings, you know. Oh well. I tried to get you into my faction." The doorbell rang.

"I'll get it," Genos said as he stood up and walked to the front door. He opened it, and you could hear someone ask for Saitama. Blizzard gasped from next to you, her entire face going white. King walked into the living room.

"Hey, did you take my game home with you?" He asked as he walked into the middle of the room to face him.

"Sorry, I did take it," Saitama fessed.

"I knew it. Hand it over."

"No, I'm really sorry."

"No big deal, as long as you give it back."

"I erased your data."

"Huh? What'd you say?"

'Oh boy, here it comes.' You sighed, leaning back against the wall. Saitama reached under the table retrieve it for him.

"My bad."

"Nah, don't worry about it... oh, the button's smooshed in."
You suddenly stood up from your spot and walked into the kitchen, making sure you were out from everyone's view.

"Get out of this apartment," you hissed quietly. Korrun was swinging their legs carelessly from the counter.

"I just wanted to see the kind of people you surround yourself with."

"You've become even more annoying in recent months. Get off my back." You tried to keep your voice down so that not even Genos could hear you.

"They're good people at heart," Korrun said, "Totally different from you."

"As if you know what's in my heart," you hissed back.

"Of course I don't. Why would I? You don't even know yourself."
You glared at them, eyes turning a deep purple.

"I'm only saying this once more, get out of this apartment."
Korrun fought against your control, and they held up well.

"Fine...!" They strained, "I'll concede for now." Korrun disappeared from the counter and you let out a deep sigh, calming your power down. You walked into it and poured yourself some water to help you calm your heart.

"Sensei?" Genos appeared around the corner.

"Yes?" You answered before taking a swig.

"Who were you talking to?"
You paused mid-sip, having to compose yourself so you didn't choke.

"No one," you replied, "It wasn't anyone."

"But I heard someone's voice," he pushed, "Something about wanting to see who you surround yourself with." Your eyes widened.

'Shit...! I forgot to make them imperceivable because I thought no one would be able to hear us!'

"It was probably your imagination," you sighed, "Maybe one of your parts is malfunctioned. Should go check up with Dr. Kuseno about that." You and Genos just stared at each other, silently waiting for the other to concede.

"I see," he finally said, "Maybe I will." He turned and walked back out into the living room. You let out a quiet sigh of relief and leaned against the counter.

'That was close...'
