"Annnd CUT!! Great job everybody, that's a wrap! Don't forget we have a day off tomorrow. We'll see you back on Wednesday."

It's a shortened filming day and most of the actors are heading to craft services for a free lunch before heading off on their separate ways.

Sandra looks at Keanu. "I'll see you in like an hour?"

They are meeting at her house for lunch so they can discuss their upcoming scenes. He is like the energizer bunny: He never stops working, rehearsing, planning, reflecting. He is always asking his co-stars how he can do things better or what their visions are.

It's refreshing to Sandra to be included at such a deep level. Most of the actors she'd worked with didn't seem to look beyond their own nose let alone consider those around them. She was cynical when she first met him, waiting for the proverbial other shoe to drop, for his ego to kick in. She second-guessed every kindness he offered to her and others. He made her nervous. She's always been a jokester, always entertaining those around her. He, on the other hand, would sit back and quietly observe. He rarely spoke and when he did, his answers were as short as possible. Every once in awhile, though, he would hit with a remark so profound that an entire room would be left reexamining everything they thought they knew.

An hour later....

Keanu is sitting at Sandra's round dining table, watching her cook.

She walks over to the table with two navy plates holding grilled cheese sandwiches. "These are on wheat, just so you know," she says as she hands him his plate. "Oh! I almost forgot!" She opens the refrigerator and pulls out a circular platter filled with sliced carrots, celery and cherry tomatoes. In the center is a large bowl filled with ranch dressing. "Charcuterie!" she announces proudly as she joins him at the table.

The door swings open and in walks Gesine, a big bag of groceries in her arms and frustration all over her face. "Sandy! You have got to tell mom to get off my back! I can't take it anymore."

"Uh, Gesine?" Sandra tries to get her attention, but it is futile.

"Seriously, sis, she won't stop asking me what I'm going to do with my degree and I wanna tell her I'm gonna just burn the thing—"

"Gesine!"

"What?!" Gesine whips around to see Keanu leaning forward with his elbows on the table, hands folded under his chin. Her mouth falls open as the brown paper bag falls from her hands and hits the ground, spilling its contents across the tiled floor. "Y-you're Keanu Reeves." Turning her head towards Sandra, she continues, "That's Keanu Reeves!"

Sandra snorts.

Keanu stands and moves over to where Gesine is crouching on the ground to help her gather her things.

She freezes in place and just stares for a minute before looking over at Sandra. She holds up one hand to block his view and with the other, points in his direction, mouthing, "Keanu Reeves!"

With the groceries back in the bag, Keanu stands and sets them on the counter.

Sandra grabs Gesine by the arm to help her up and walks her toward the stairs.

"That's Keanu Reeves," she repeats in disbelief.

"Yes, Gesine, that's Keanu Reeves."

Returning to the kitchen she sees Keanu sitting at the table again, chomping on some celery, acting as though nothing had happened at all. She shrugs her shoulders. "Welp, I told you she'd probably do that."
