When you hear Tony call me 'Sparrow' people usually think of the bird and find it cute. But come on, its Tony! Its always pop culture references or a pun.
I am nicknamed after a pirate who is always drunk and has a jar of dirt.

Well you see, right before I came into the MCU I re-watched The Pirates of the Caribbean again. And I was going through my pirate phase again. Okay not a phase but you get it.
I often made references to the movies and spoke in pirate. Funny, cause that's not the main reason.
I have a literal Jar of Dirt in my room.

And thus I earned the name 'Sparrow' from Tony.
