Engaged.
Trent and I are engaged and we weren't both expecting that our relationship will lead into this kind of setting. Para sa iba, napakabilis ng mga pangyayari at parang nadala lamang sa emosyon kaya ginawa rin ni Trent 'yon. I must say that they could be right that it could just be out of his emotions and that he seriously takes all of this. But I can't take it back anymore. We're engaged and I'm happy that both of our family supports our relationship.
Lalo na 'yong mga kuya ko. They are so protective and all for me, I understand what they are doing, but as soon as they've realized that this is the life I chose and this is where my decision lies, they supported me because it's what they could only do or hate me and Trent for the rest of our lives.
Well, they might have a say in my relationship pero ako pa rin naman hahawak ng buhay ko at the end of the day. My decision to be with someone I know who will take care of me was just right. The feeling is right. Walang problema.
I don't think there could ever be a problem with that.
"Sa'n mob a kasi ako dadalhin? Para 'tong tanga," usal ko nang piringan ako ni Trent. Inaalalayan niya akong maglakad at sa kung saan man kami pumunta ngayon.
Ngisi na lamang narinig kong response mula sa kanya at halik sa pisngi. "I just know you'll love this..."
"I'm not sure I will be... ayoko lang kasing maulit 'yong nangyari last time."
He chuckled. "You know I've been keeping tabs since the day I mistakenly ate some peanuts? Oh, hell no. I don't wanna die early."
"That's why surprises make me nervous," nanginginig kong usal. "So, you're going to tell me what's going on?" I asked, but I've got no response from him. "Still no? Just make sure na hindi mo ako pakakabahin ng bongga, a? Kukurutin ko 'yang sausage mo," pagbabanta ko pa.
"And how would we be able to have children if you're going to pinch my penis?"
"Kaasar! How long it would take for us to be there?"
"Why were you so annoyed today?" Trent confusedly asked. "Is this time of the month, again?"
Hindi ako sumagot, wala rin siyang binigay na sagot sa akin. I just let it go and see how this would go. Kung ano man ang pinaplano niya ngayong araw, I'm sure I would love it. Kinokontra ko lang siya so he would know that he's not gonna get all he wants when he buys things for me or surprises me with stuff—that I know I would love.
"Chikaku ni I run da," he whispered. (We're closer.)
Pinakiramdam ko lang ang kamay niyang nasa balikat ko. He's carefully directing me and then he dropped his hands off of me.
"Koko ni I te," muling bulong nito sa akin. (Stay here.)
When I felt that he's taking too long and just the fact that he's not around me anymore made me feel so worried. I tried not to panic and stood calmly on my feet. I know Trent wouldn't bring me into any harm. Lago na lang siya sa mga kuya ko kapag nagkataon.
