Sinilip ko sa Peephole kung sino ang nagdodoorbell sa labas ng unit ko. I smiled, "Hi there." Binuksan ko ang pintuan para salubungin si Nicole.

"Hey, you. Do want to grab some food outside?" aya ni Nicole. How is it possible that I still miss that English accent of hers when we talked the whole time last night. Nakabihis na ito panglabas samantalang ako ay nakapambahay pa lang dahil hindi ko sana plano na lumabas ng condo.

But she looks cute right now and I want to spend more time with her, "Sure. Come on in." Pumasok na ito sa loob, "Looking good, neighbor." Puri ko. Hiyang ngumiti lang ito.

"Are you coming or?"

"Give me a minute. Bihis lang ako ng very very quick."

"Go on."

I went inside my room to change. Kumuha ako ng loose beige trouser, white fitted crop top just enough to show my shape and belly button. And of course, the safest footwear to have, a white sneakers. I look at myself in the mirror, okay this will do. Putting a little make up for a change and now I am good to go.

"Let's go, Nic." I grab my black purse making sure I have my cards, "What?" tanong ko kay Nicole na nakaupo pa rin na parang walang balak umalis.

-Doorbell Ring-

Napalingon kami pareho ni Nicole sa pintuan ko.

"Bea's not coming with us, isn't she?" klaro ko.

"No. Are you not expecting anyone, Yas?" Umiling ako, "Ako na magbubukas ng pintuan mo. Go get change, Yas."

Nabasa ni Nicole ang nasa isip ko, "I love what you're wearing but it's too much. The restaurant's like only ten minutes away from us."

-Doorbell Ring-

Not wanting to argue, I took a deep breath and smiled at her, "Fine."

Pumasok na ako sa kwarto ko para magbihis ulit. Hindi ko alam kung bakit too much para kay Nicole ang suot ko dahil pangkaraniwan na nga lang itong ayos na pinili ko. I took a sleeveless linen dress, opting for a more conservative side. Matching it with a black sandal, I hope this will be okay for her because we will no longer go out if she doesn't.

Lumabas na ako ng kwarto at bumagsak ang mga ngiti ko ng matagpuan kung sino ang kasama ni Nicole sa living room ko, "Princess? What are you doing here?" linapitan ko na ang mga ito, "Uh, Nicole this is Princess, my best friend's sister. Princess meet my gorgeous neighbor, Nicole." Pakilala ko sa isa't isa pero tingin ko ay nagawa na nila iyon habang inaantay ako na magbihis.

"Yassy." Princess smiles at me, "I came to say Goodbye before I go back to New York." It took me a second to respond to what she just said, "Baka magtampo ka kung umalis man ako nang hindi nagpapaalam sa'yo."

Nalungkot ako sa loob loob ko, "I was starting to think you are going to stay here for good already." But I know deep down me she will not stay.
