Fight or Flight? [Book 2] ON GOING

I looked at my twitter account while the makeup artist finish my look. May photoshoot ako today na napa-schedule pa a week before I decided my hiatus. I have no choice but to push through, kidding, I have a choice but decided not to.

Today's shoot is for a Fashion Brand's summer campaign. Obviously, there's bikini or swimsuit in my wardrobe. With my current lifestyle, I hate to feel insecure with my weight. I think I look fat to be wearing swim wears.

Pero may naisip ako, knowing that social media is a broad spectrum then anything is possible when you know how to use it.

"Done, Ms. Yassy. You are gorgeous as always." Sabi ni Clang na aking personal makeup artist, "Sayang naman at hindi na kita napapanood sa tv."

"Masaya ako sa estado ng buhay ko ngayon. Susulitin ko muna ito saka ako babalik yun ay kung sikat pa ako." Dahilan ko.

"Ikaw pa rin ang bukod tanging Block Buster Queen para sa lahat." I smiled at that.

"And now back to the camera. Thank you, Clang." I said to my makeup artist, he nodded his head and let me go. Itinali ko ang robe ko sa katawan ko ng mahigpit at pinuntahan ang Country Manager ng brand. She's standing on the set with a coffee in her hand. Mukhang busy ito na binubusisi ang back drop.

"Stella, do you have a minute?" I called for her, humarap ito sa akin saka inayos ang salamin niya.

"Yassy, is everything okay dear?"

"All is fine. You want this campaign to get a lot of attention, right? I have a suggestion." I hope she agrees so I won't get pressured to wear a bikini!

"What do you have in mind?" Interesado nitong sagot.

"We will be using social media as the driving force. Particularly, the Instagram to do a bit of a model scouting." She looked surprised.

"But you are already our model, Yassy."

"Well, I will be promoting this stunt. This is how it works, for the chance to be featured in this Summer campaign, it will ask followers to tag a photo of themselves using the hashtag #castmein." Paliwanag ko, "Trust me, this is a good marketing strategy as well as creating awareness of the brand. It will  give the consumers and fans of the brand a memorable and potentially valuable experience." Inantay ko ito na pagisipan ang suhestyon ko.

"I like the idea, Stella." We both turned to where the voice came from. It's Nicole with a professional camera in hand. She's the photographer? My lips curled up. This is exciting, I can seduce her---okay, crap. What am I thinking. 

"Nicole! You are here! Thank you for pitching in for today's shoot!" Galak na galak si Stella, niyakap nito si Nicole na naaliw sa matandang babae.

"Ikaw pa ba tatanggihan ko?" Nicole answered.

Stella looks grateful, "Miss Yassy, this is Nicole Lagdameo, our photographer for today."

"We know each other, Stella." I eyed Nicole. Tila wala lang kay Nicole na makatrabaho ako ngayon.
