I woke to screaming. It was obviously y/n waking up from what I think is a nightmare

"Heyyy Shh it's okay it was only a dream. See I'm here. Wandas here" I tried to take her into my arms but she got off the bed hiding in the corner of the room.

That's when I noticed her side of the bed was wet. Fuckkkkkk.

"Hey baby. It's only me okay?" I sat I front of her

Her sobs were heart wrenching. I just wanted to scoop her up and never let her go. But that was not an option at the moment. I knew not to touch her in this state I didn't want her laching out and breaking the trust I have worked hard to build.

"Little witch" I cooed reaching my arms out

This got her attention. Almost as if she was pulled out of her head and brought back to reality. She inched closer to me grabbing my hands instead of letting me take her into my arms as I had previously anticipated.

"I'm yuck" she referred to her pants

"Thats alright. It's was an accident. I'll clean you up"

"Sorry" she said

"It's alright I'm not mad. I just want to get you back to bed okay. It's late" I told her and finally let me pick her up and bring her Into the bathroom

I ran the smallest amount of water
In the bath not wanting her to drown and Also not wanting her To be tempted to play

While she was in there I got her new pjs and also changed the sheets on the bed

"Ready to get back to bed?" You asked and she nodded Reaching out for me

"Hi bug" I greated when she walked into the kitchen and where I was cooking breakfast

She only waved while rubbing her eyes

"God you look so much like me" I chuckled to myself studding her features

"Look I put some of your new toys out. Why don't you go check em out while I finish this" I suggested when she wrapped herself around my leg

"Come on little witch I don't want you to get hurt." I picked her up

"Look this is hot" I showed her the stove

"I can't have you in here while mamas cooking. What if you burned yourself" I cooed at her and kissed her cheek

I showed her a couple things and what to do before I went back to cooking

"Come here little witch" I called out after setting the plates of food down. Expected her to run right in when she didn't I peaked in the living room

She had obviously gotten frustrated by something she tossed toy she was playing with previously. She let out a huff as tears filled her eyes.

"Mama" she said just above a whisper

It was obvious that she was calling for me wanting me to come here. But was to nervous to call loud enough to where it would actually get my attention.

She let out her small sobs a she curled into a small ball

"Come'er my love" I told her walking into the room fully

She stood up walking to me with her arms extended.

I sat on the couch and pulled her into only lap

"What's got you so worked up hmm" I asked whipping her nose with the hymn of my shirt

"I can't do it" she cried turning into my chest

God this was heartbreaking.

"Oh my baby" I cooed rubbing her back

"Please stop crying sweet girl" I pleaded after a couple minutes

"Mama has you" I soothed

I pulled her out of my chest so I could look at her. Her baby hairs were sprawled over her sticky cheeks and her nose was running. I whipped her nose again with my shirt before whipping her cheeks

She started to slowly calm down

"There we go. Pretty girl" I kissed her forehead

"Hungry mama" she said still in the most pitiful voice

"Oh okay my baby. Mama get you food" I couldn't help but smile

I walked her back to where placed the food setting her on my lap as I sat in a high stool

I helped her to eat most of her breakfast as I ate my own

"Mama lookie" she told me

I watched as she raised her fork that had a small piece of strawberry it with her telekinesis. I chuckled nervously as it stared coming toward me i didn't want to lose an eye.

It stoped at my mouth. I looked at her she had the proudest smile on her face as she watched what she was doing. I lived watching how her tiny hands moved with her actions.

I hesitantly opened my mouth and she gently slid the fork in giving me the strawberry

"Good job" I praised chewing the food. "You did so well" I added patting her back

She wigged a little being proud of her self making my smile only grow wider

My smile soon faded when I realized this is the first time my little girl has been care free her entire life. I wish I knew about her before now. I couldn't help but feel guilty.

"My baby" I wrapped my arms around her breathing in her sent. The smell brought tears to my eyes

"Mama" she giggled trying to remove my hands from her

"Stop...let me hold you" I complained she laughed harder

—————

"Hey Tony" I answered the phone

Is she around

"Not in a radius were she can hear you. Why what's up?"  I asked

I've been looking into her a little more. You need to keep her safe Wanda. I think we're in trouble"

"Mama" she yelled wanting me to watch her

I smiled at her giving her a thumbs up

"what kinda trouble"

Let's just say I wouldn't be surprised if I got news that the compound was under attack

"Well what are we going to do. I cant fight off all their guys by myself"

I know theres a few things we need to finish up here then will be on the way. Give me three days Wanda.

I sighed

How is she?

"She's doing really well. She just breaks my heart though she so sweet....the thought of what they might've done to her just makes me-.."

Don't think like that Wanda. She's here with you. Her mom. She's safe now

"Yeah I guess your right"

How are you. Holding it together

"I'm happy Tony" I said smiling at y/n as I saw her staring a butterfly that had landed on her arm

"I gotta go Tony. Keep me posted on what you find" I said before hanging up

"What is that baby?" I asked making my way over to her

"Butterfly" she smiled at me

"Real butterfly" she said again bouncing a little carful to not scare it away unfortunately she failed causing a small pout to form in her lips

"Come on my little butterfly" I picked her up spinning her in the air it scared her at first but soon her started to giggle
