Wanda and nat returned downstairs sitting at the table with Laura and Clint catching up. Meanwhile you had been clinging to your mama like a little monkey. Not leaving her for a second. Whenever Wanda would feel your hands grip her shirt tighter or gently hold onto her hair she would kiss your head or patt your butt letting you know she felt you.
You were tired of listening to there conversation Natasha could tell. She always had her eyes on you. Even though it wasn't technically her job anymore she felt involved in your life.
"Hey y/n why don't we go take a walk" she suggested standing up
You nodded getting off your moms lap and held nats hand
"I wanna go" Wanda whined slightly
"Hmmm what do you say? Should we let mama come with us?" She asked and you pretended to think about it before nodded
The three of you stepped outside
You grabbed onto both of their hand smiling widely up at your mom
"Oh and nat" Wanda said remember something
"We have plans tomorrow night" she told her once the two of them made eye contact
Nat gave a confused look And Wanda only smiled at her
"Hey babygirl...." Wanda called when you started speeding up getting further away from them
"Come on back here. Stay close to mama" she yelled again making you run to her crashing into her legs making her let out a grunt at the unexpected contact
Wanda gently picked you up before slipping her hand into Nats
Nat wanted to say something. She was going to say something.
"Wanda" she stopped in her tracks
"Hmm" she bummed innocently turning to look at Natasha
"Don't make this harder than it has to please" Wanda took note of the genuine pain in Natashas voice
"I'm not sure where you expecting his to go. But I think it's best if we don't g pant further"
"You didn't seem like that's what yo wanted this morning-"
"I was just happy to see you that's all" nat said feeling herself getting frustrated with the redhead
"You greet all your friends like that" Wanda smirked
"Shut up" nat tried to hide her smile
"I promise Natasha if I didn't want this and if I didn't think this was right I wouldn't be trying so hard" she told her softly. You had started to drift off it was close to nap time anyway.
"I don't want you to get hurt. And..and y/n..I-I love her Wan...I can't do that to her"
"Stop it Natasha I'm sick of this...she loves you..I love you so much. Cant you see how much you mean to us."
Nat started to tear up.
"Baby please don-" Wanda was cut off by nat walking back toward the house.
Wanda sighed looking at you leaning on her shoulder. Your thumb was in your mouth as your eyes started to flutter open once more.
"Hi peanut" she cooed
"Nat sad?" You asked
"I think mama made Nat sad"
"Go say sowwy" you ordered making her giggled softly under her breath
"If only it were that simple my love"
"Do you like nat?" She said after a moment
"I lub natt" you to her smiling widely hugging your hands to your chest
