Chapter 26

Ryujin's POV:

"No, we're not going to go back" Jaemin insisted

"But Ji Eun is now awake. I understand. Don't worry. Yoona already booked a flight for us. We're going to leave by 4AM so take a rest. I'll take care of our stuff"

We're arguing inside our hotel room. After we received that call we received series of text messages from the other elites, especially Jaemin

They're asking Jaemin to come back immediately because everyone was looking for him

And it's because he was the first person Ji Eun looked for when she woke up...

I'm glad that she's now awake but why does it have to be now?

"Ryujin-ah, understand me too. I took a lot of effort to make sure that your first trip abroad is going to be special. I want you to enjoy this trip. I want to spend more time with you here so please don't push me away" he seriously said with sadness in his eyes

He turned his back against me and silently grabbed a beer from the refrigerator. He drank it continuously and then took another one so I immediately stopped him

"Don't get drunk. We have a flight later"

He looked at me disappointedly and later on nodded. He went straight to the closet and packed his things. I'm just silently watching him

He's mad

I quietly approached him and hugged him. He stopped what he was doing when he heard me crying

"I'm not pushing you away. I would never do that. It's just that...I think Ji Eun needs you" I whispered

He slowly removed my hands around him

"And you don't?"

"N-No, it's not like tha---"

"I'm sorry" he hugged me and caress my hair "I'm sorry for what I said but can we please talk about this next time? I'm so frustrated right now" he still managed to gave me a kiss even though he's mad

After he packed all our things he immediately took a bath and get prepared. A cab was already waiting for us outside. Our luggage are already there. I'm just waiting for Jaemin now

"Let's go" he held my hand without looking at me

He's just quiet the whole ride but it's unbelievable that he never let go of my hand even though I know that he's mad

It's his birthday today but I made him mad. I shouldn't have said that because I really want to stay longer here with him. I want to celebrate his birthday with him alone. But things didn't turned out just like what I expected

I don't want to be selfish...

While we were on the plane he received a call from his dad

"Stop calling me. I already said that I'm now on my way back. You're so annoying"

He was so annoyed that he was able to express his annoyance to his dad

I also received a call from Haechan so I answered it. He told me that he's already in the Incheon Airport. He offered to pick us up together with Sunghoon. They brought two cars for Jaemin and I. I can't go back right now because they might suspect us
 
"Happy birthday bro!"

"Happy birthday"

Sunghoon and Haechan immediately greeted him. He just smiled at them and silently put his luggage on the trunk of Sunghoon's car

"Is there something wrong?" Haechan and Sunghoon asked

"It's my fault" I said

"Let's go, Sunghoon-ah"
