(A/N): Hey guys! I want to make some quick statements before we begin the story.

I was inspired by @HouseDimitrescuSimp and @tree_2801 to start making stories and stories crafted from my imagination. Thank you so much both of you for the inspiration! I will also slowly be doing this chapter by chapter of however much I feel like at a time, so please be patient, I promise I will give you so many phenomenal stories! Also, I was inspired to make this story after I imagined myself falling love with Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters and joining the family as someone with a tragic backstory and that's how this kinda got made into making this story! Hope you can relate to it and like it! And feel free to tell me anything I can maybe correct or improve! I take constructive criticism real well! Now finally, let's witness the Fifth Lord's beginning!

Cole Hoffman was a kid like none other. He showed unrivaled dedication to his studies and other activities and in addition, he was one of if not the most athletic kids in the neighborhood countryside of Dallas, Texas. He was a star, a child of prodigy, as if the gods willed that he would be destined for something, or SOMEONE special.

Cole loved his parents more than anyone, as they always gave him a sea of endless privileges because of his high performance in his academics

Cole loved his parents more than anyone, as they always gave him a sea of endless privileges because of his high performance in his academics. His mother, Nora Hoffman, was not a working woman, she only worked as a housewife, cooking, cleaning and caring for her husband and son. Cole's father, Roman Hoffman, worked at the local slaughterhouse, always hard at work at sawing or cutting meat with various tools, most well known, his chainsaw. Cole always enjoyed seeing his father saw at meat with his chainsaw, it sparked a certain feeling in Cole, one that would last for the rest of his life.

As for Cole's personality, he was always seen as a popular, outgoing easy to get along with kind of guy. Everyone loved and respected him greatly for who he was.

He had always stuck close to his 3 best friends, Antonio Olvardo, River Lee and Trevor O'Neil. They always got along, agreeing on almost everything. They were the lights in each others' darkest hours at times.

Cole also had a sister. Aura Hoffman. Kind, funny, hyperactive and always seemingly ready for whatever came her way. She and Cole had quite the close relationship, as they were constantly talking to each other. She was always fixed of one day becoming a pilot for the Airborne Division of the Military, the Valkyries. She was constantly studying up on the required topics to get into the best college and qualify for the division.

She constantly tells Cole that when she was younger, she'd ask her parents to make used boxes into jetpacks and for her to carry her around like she was flying

She constantly tells Cole that when she was younger, she'd ask her parents to make used boxes into jetpacks and for her to carry her around like she was flying.

The most common joke Aura would make was: "You ever feel the freedom of soaring freely through the sky? Do you wanna?" It never failed to make Cole smile.

Cole was also quite religious, looking up to a being he knew as "The Father" or "The Ones above". Though it had never been said, he himself believed that they had a plan for him, that he would one day become a herald of the ones above and that he would bear glorious purpose.

However, for every prodigy, there is something that is left unknown about him or her. On the lower side of Cole's left wrist, he possessed a a marking, shaped in the form of a black flower uncommon but beautiful. His parents had not known anyone in the family lineage to possess a similar marking, but they believed it to be a very well-looking part of him. As when it came to other girls, they always seemed to be attracted to Cole because of the marking, but the relationship always seemed to end with Micheal and the girl remaining friends and not partners.

It was almost as if the marking symbolized something... like Cole was never meant to be with any of them... as if he was destined for someone more.

Cole's pleasant life came to an end when one day, his father's boss told him he was fired. The reason: for slipping up too many times by cutting too deep into some of the slaughterhouse's finest meat. This is where darkness began to brew among the Hoffman family but most importantly, Cole Hoffman himself.
