I sit next to her and start to cry in my hands.

"tell me more.." I manage to say.

I dry my tears and wait for my mom to tell me about Jesse.

"Jesse does drugs. He has TATTOOS and he's just untrustworthy." She explains.

"Mom, just because someone does drugs, doesn't mean he's untrustworthy. Well, I mean if we're talking about jesse.." My words fade away.

"Alright whatever. Anyways.. I know you favor solitude and all that, so I bought you a small apartment, there's even extra money on the table for you.." She smiles which means no harm.

"What..? Are you kidding?" I say slowly standing up.

"Nope. It's on the table." She answers.

"Holy.. fuck." I say as I walk over to the table.

I see an envelope and open it up.

It's a check.. Wow..

Welcome to adulthood Kacia..

"Thank you.. Thank you mom. Thank you." I say completely in awe.

~1 month later~

2:10am
I sit in my new apartment crying hysterically. unable to breath from my sobbing.

can't someone hear me?

I need someone

jesse... why aren't you here with me? Why are you with Raina??

i continue to soak in my sadness, crying uncontrollably.

someone please stay with me..

*knock knock*

I stay on the floor, becoming quiet.

*knock*

"Open up please!" A male says.

I get up to answer the door- I know I shouldn't but it's like a force pulling me to it.

I open the door.
The wind from the outdoors hit me.

"Kacia....?" He says in suprise.

He starts to hold me, rocking me back and forth.

"I can't sleep because I miss you so much." he quietly says.

"j-j esse." I say in-between sobs.

"I miss you, I'm so sorry. I'm soo sorry. I love you. Just you. Not Raina. Only Kacia. I love you- you." He says in my hair, still holding me..

"I love y-"

I wake up.

I look at the time..

2:10am

I'm in my bed in my apartment.

Was that a dream?

Oh my fuck. I really miss jesse. I miss him so much. I wish jesse was here.

I-I miss him so m-

I drift asleep again..

12:03pm

I rub my eyes, rolling over to the other side of my bed.

A wave of emotion hits me. It hits me with an aggressive punch.

All I feel is emptiness, lonliness,.. sadness.
