Alina frowned to herself, the scorching sun causing her clothes to cling onto her body as though she had a second layer of skin. It was like Las Vegas was getting warmer every second, and she hated it; the mosquitoes, the loud children, the humidity and being expected to hang out with your friends every day - winter was much better for her.

She went on her tip-toes, scanning the road for any black cars, waiting impatiently for Lucifer to pick her up. After a few moments, she finally saw a black Aston Martin slowly pull up beside her grandma's front yard, where she had been waiting. Lucifer slid out, flashing Alina a smile as he made his way to her. He opened his arms wide and without a second thought, Alina jumped into them, wrapping her arms around his shoulders.

Gently, Alina combed her fingers through his dark, fluffy hair, almost lost in a completely different world. "Eaten breakfast?" Lucifer asked, and Alina hummed in response, absentmindedly. Instead, her mind drifted off to last night when she had pleasured and couldn't help but think what her best friend would think of her moaning his name out in bliss.

After a quiet moment, Lucifer put Alina down, a whine escaping her pink lips. She looked up at him in confusion, "Have you eaten breakfast?" he repeated, and immediately Alina cast her eyes down onto the grass. With a sigh, he cupped her chin, forcing her to look back at him. Out of habit, she bit her lip, waiting for him to say something or hopefully, dismiss the topic.

However, Lucifer just nodded, more or less to himself, and told her to get in the car which she happily complied to. Buckling herself in, she looked up at Lucifer when she felt him nudging some sort of bar into her hand. He looked at her with pleading eyes, "Eat it, Lina. Please," he said softly, and Alina ripped off the wrapper of the snack bar and began nibbling on it.

During the ride, the two talked about their plans after senior year when Lucifer suddenly asked, "Remember Jace?" Alina snapped her head as soon as she heard the familiar name, "Didn't you hate him?" she asked, cocking her head to the side. Jace was a star soccer player at their high school while Lucifer was a loyal member of the hockey team and Alina couldn't seem to wrap her head around why the two teams despised each other.

"Yeah, but he's a cool guy now," Lucifer replied, "I've been talking to him this summer, we put the past behind and decided to well, be friends so we're hanging out today."

Alina nodded, but then her eyes grew wide when she processed the last phrase, "Later, r-right?" and Lucifer looked back at her sheepishly, scratching the back of his neck, "No, right now." With a huff of annoyance, Alina threw the wrapper in his direction but then she quickly scrambled to get it back when she knew he would probably chuck it out of the window.

"S-seriously?! Luc, you know I don't t-talk to people like that!" she whined, "He's one of the most-"

"Please, Lina? I'll do anything," he pleaded, and Alina giggled, knowing where this was heading.

"Beg."

Lucifer groaned, rolling his eyes yet he still held a smile on his lips as he continued to drive, "Not this shit again, okay?" Alina pouted.

"F-fine! Um, promise to let me boop your Adam's Apple whenever I want?" she smiled innocently at him and he hastily nodded. Her hazel eyes twinkled with excitement as she reached her finger up to it, quickly and gently poking it.

"Ow," Lucifer said nonchalantly, stepping on the brakes.

Alina trailed behind Lucifer, peeking to the side every minute or two

Alina trailed behind Lucifer, peeking to the side every minute or two. Eventually, he spotted Jace and called out to him. Jace approached the pair, greeting Lucifer before his eyes traveled down to Alina. She shifted uncomfortable, hiding behind Lucifer as if she was a toddler.

"Who's this?" Jace asked, his Australian accent immediately evident, and he turned back to Lucifer. Lucifer smiled and carefully nudged Alina in front of him, "Alina," he answered, securing his hand in hers as his thumb caressed her skin, rubbing off her nerves. She showed a sweet smile and waved at him awkwardly.

"Ah, Lucifer has told me a lot of things about you," Jace stated, his eyes looking her up and down, analyzing her.

"Good things," Lucifer corrected, and Alina blushed while Jace nodded.
