Jonathan knew he was supposed to stay home, to watch over his mom during these difficult times, at least, that's what Hopper told him to do. But there was a chance that Will was at Lonnie's, so that's where he needed to be. As he violently pushed on the gas pedal of his old Ford Galaxie 500, a familiar song started playing over the wind from the rolled-down window.

Jonathan gave the radio a sad look for a moment as "Should I stay or Should I Go" played, Will's favorite song...

«Memory»

Jonathan bopped his head to his favorite song, his little brother copying his actions as they listened to the chorus. Jonathan constantly glanced at Will's face, trying to determine how he thought of the song.
After a few glances, he gave up and just asked plain out,

"You like it?"

"Yeah, it's cool."

"Alright, you can keep the mix if you want."

"Really?!"

Jonathan smiled at his brother's excitement,

"Yeah really! All the best stuff's on there, Joy Division, Bowie, Television, The Smiths...It'll totally change your life."

"Yeah, totally."

The brother's fun time was interrupted by the faint shout of their mom from the kitchen.

"Where the hell are you Lonnie?!"

Jonathan wished he didn't hear the name of his "father", it made him upset to even think of the man. Although, he pushed his anger aside once he noticed Will's sad expression towards the door. Eventually Jonathan had enough of the faint shouts and got up quickly to shut his door. He went to sit back down next to Will, quickly being asked a question from the younger one,

"He's not coming, is he?"

"..Do you even like baseball?"

"No, but...I don't know. It's fun to go with him sometimes."

"Come on. Has he ever done anything with you that you actually like? Like the arcade or something?"

Jonathan could see the pain go through his little brother's eyes as he answered,

"I don't know."

"No, all right? He hasn't. He's trying to force you to like normal things. And you shouldn't like something just because someone tells you to. Okay?..especially not him."

Will nodded his head and turned back to the cassette player. Jonathan thought for a bit, trying to lighten the mood, before an idea flashed through his mind. He gave Will a small smirk and placed his hand on his shoulder, making the boy look at him,

"You know I included some (favorite 80s band), maybe you could, I don't know, listen with you know who?"

Jonathan beamed at the embarrassed look that made its way onto Will's face. Will seemed to start daydreaming as his lips curved into a smile.
