I left the Knights headquarters, paimon still with my arms and aether following behind me quickly.

"Y/n are you sure you're okay. . .?" Aether said, worry evident in his voice as he reached for my hand to stop me from walking.

I didn't pull my hand back and stopped myself for him. Not wanting to offend him if I snap my hand back. But I just nodded. "Yes. I'm alright aether. Don't worry" I mumble. I really don't want to burden him when there's literally a dragon going on a rampage on Monstad and he has a missing sister. He frowned tightening his grip on my hand as he locked his fingers with mine. "Please. . ." He mumbled.

I stared at him. His grip did not loosen as I could notice his hand trembling, I couldn't help but just sigh. The trauma of seeing his sister being taken by the unknown god right from his eyes must make him anxious. I sighed and locked my fingers with his also to reassure him. "Look. If you're so worried you can look at the wound yourself later" I said. He looked up hearing that and nodded. Feeling better since he wanted to reassure I would be okay.

I could only chuckle finding it cute. "How cute~" I tease, hoping it'll make him feel better. He looked up instantly with his cheeks a pink hue embarrassed. His hand still holding mine.

"H-hush!" He said but I couldn't help but chuckle even more. He was very much like a puppy. I could easily imagine him with ears and a wagging tail

"Oi! Love birds! Stop with the hand holding and flirting and get paimon some food!" Paimon shrieked since she didn't want to be the third wheel and since her stomach was grumbling.

Aether's face flushed redder and he started scolding her again. "paimon were not flirting!" He said. "Paimon is not blind! You're red as a tomato! Get paimon food or I will sing you two in kissing in a tree!" She said as aether nagged at her and she made fun of him for it and kept telling him that him scolding her was much similar to a grandma's.

I just couldn't help but laugh harder at their conversation with one another. They reminded me of me and my annoying ass sibling. Bickering about everything and hitting each other when our parents weren't looking

Huh. I wonder. How are they doing? Did they go into that stupid school they always wanted to go to? I wonder if they miss me. I'm not sure if I miss them.

I shook the thought off and picked up paimon. "Okay okay, that's enough. Let's just go grab some lunch and some supplies then you can look at the bruises" I said. Aether sighed and nodded. "Fine," the duo said. Paimon sticking her tongue out at aether and he glared at her.

But I walked away with paimon in my arms before they started to argue again. "what would you like to eat paimon?" I ask.

She drooled as she started to think. "Ooo!! Ooo! I know I know! I saw pizza earlier! Let's have that!" She said.

I nod. "okay. I'll make sure to get you two large pizzas just for yourself" her eyes widened. "Ooohhh!! Thank you y/n!! You're officially Paimons favorite person!!" She said as we headed to good hunters.

Paimon ordered herself the pizzas. I got veggie radish soup while aether got steak. We ate and damn that soup was much better than I expected and it filled me up. But why did I get it? Because it has healing properties. So by the time aether sees the wound it'll be all healed up by then.
