"Okay, so we'll close the case as decided." Kris Wu confirmed and Baekhyun just nodded.

As Chanyeol lost his memory about the accident and the Doctor suggested to not remind him anything about the incident, Officer Wu discussed with Baekhyun about the case. The driver has already passed away and also it wasn't a intentional accident so it was better to close the case. Chanyeol's family has already agreed with this. And Baekhyun also agreed. There is no point of continuing the case.

They bid their goodbyes and parted their ways after exiting the restaurant, where they both went for the lunch.

Baekhyun came back to the cafe and Chanyeol and Jongdae were already back at work.

"Hey! Am I too late?" Baekhyun asked them, entering the kitchen. Chanyeol just glanced at him once but didn't reply anything.

"No it's okay. We came just about five minutes ago." Jongdae replied with a smile.

"So, how was your lunch with the tall guy?" Chanyeol said without looking at Baekhyun. He was clearly annoyed by then.

"Huh? Oh Kris? Good I think?" Baekhyun replied, slightly confused about what to say.

"He really looks older than you." Chanyeol added and turned to look at Baekhyun. He was almost glaring at the smaller male. And on the other hand Baekhyun was totally dumbfounded that what was happening. So he just kept staring at Chanyeol without saying anything.

"Excuse me, what's happening here?" Jongdae cleared his throat and said. He looked from side to side to realise the situation. But all it looked like a staring contest for him.

"Would you two like me to join too? I'll start staring then?" He said and again looked at the other two. And that's when the two broke their eye contact.

Baekhyun wasn't sure why Chanyeol said that. So he just tried to shrug it off.

And there was Chanyeol who was totally annoyed but didn't know the reason behind this. He even couldn't realise why he told those to Baekhyun. Baekhyun's love life is not of course his concern. Right? Right?

It was almost 8pm and thier cafe was about to close. But that's when the door bell rang and a girl around their age entered the cafe.

"Hello, what do you want to-" Baekhyun couldn't finish his sentence when he looked at the girl's face. His eyes were wide and jaw tightened.

"Maria?" Jongdae said more like a whisper to himself.

"Hii Jongdae." The girl cheerfully called his name and waved her hand. But Jongdae wasn't moving at all.

"Place your order, please." Baekhyun said between his gritted teeth. He was trying to control his emotions as it was his profession.

"Oh why so soon? Where's Chanyeol by the way?" She stretched her neck side to side to find Chanyeol and found him on a table a little far from the counter. "Well, there he is. I will order to him." She replied looking straight at Baekhyun, with a smirk.

Baekhyun was losing his control and he was about to give her a stern reply when a deep voice interrupted him.

"Anything wrong?" Chanyeol asked, walking towards the counter where the other three were standing.

"Oh no, Nothing at all." That girl turned to Chanyeol and replied with her most sweetest voice and also giving him a innocent smile.

Chanyeol froze in his place. After discharging from the hospital he totally forgot about Maria. He forgot about his crush.
