no words could describe how you felt about armin arlert.
with each other through thick and thin, holding each other's hand through it all. when you were checking if you got accepted at your new choice of schooling, when you and armin signed off on your new purchase of an apartment on the top floor with a view of the city below.
armin came home to you everyday, holding stellar in your hands and a watering pot in the other, watering the plants on the windowsill. soft music playing on the stereo, and your computer open on the couch with your schoolwork plastered on the screen.
he would walk over to you and place a soft kiss onto your forehead, rub the top of stellar's head, and clean himself up. then, sometimes he would make dinner or order out.
you two would lay in each other's company, talk about your days, mess around and fall asleep. that's how most of your days were.
you would do loads of schoolwork, piling up on one another. you couldn't lie, it was stressful. but with armin by your side, you had a bit of hope that it was going to be okay. he holds you close while you let all your emotions out, college was taking a toll on you.
but again, armin was there.
also sasha, who you called daily. mikasa too, she often video called you and armin. eren kept calling armin and complained about how he had no one to turn to for homework. connie called you and swore he was going to visit one day.
sure, leaving with armin last minute should've been thought through more, but you didn't regret it.
"y/n! where do you want the couch?" armin called from the living room, directing the movers over to the huge window on the far side of the room.
"mm, right there."
you guys ordered a new couch and a few more things for comfort, to make the place look nice.
more movers brought in a new bed as well, another bringing a mattress.
"when did you get this?" you asked, directing them towards your shared bedroom.
"not too long ago, i thought we needed a bigger one. for the two of us." armin said, a smile on his face.
"stronger one too," you mumbled.
"what?"
"nothing."
after the movers left you and armin jumped onto your new bed, climbing under the duvet and feeling around.
you two faced each other, legs tangled together. "this is really comfortable," armin whispered, tracing your features with his fingers.
"mhm, but we haven't done a real test yet." you said, trying to hold back the smile growing on your face.
"oh i know what you're talking about." he laughed and pulled you on-top of him, throwing the blankets over you two.
overall, you were living great with armin. a life you wouldn't turn in for something else.
to you, this was heaven. a lovers heaven, if you may.
you had him, he had you.
