Danielle Leone
After the press conference happened, ILLICIT announced their member list officially to the public. Ever since my name was up there, the paparazzi never stop following me. I heard from Aria that she even got asked about the twins when she's out getting coffee.
ILLICIT made a team right away that we will have our own bodyguards once we're outside. A lot of media are trying to get interviews with us and they even dare to pay big money.
Angelo even joked around that he should take those money and ruin the interview. Not only that, now a lot of people are trying to work with ILLICIT.
It was another level of chaos.
"When will you move here?" I asked Chance as I took off my lab coat.
"Around next month, still building the house." He said and I nodded.
"It's nice to have all the members live in Paris, we don't need to go back and forth everytime." I said as I took off my protection glasses.
"That's true but maybe Adrian will mostly stay in London. Estelle still needs him a lot and Aria will also go back and forth."
"Right.. Estelle." I said as I took off my gloves and then logout from the lab.
"Goodnight, Chance."
"Goodnight." I walked out from the lab after fixing some stuff. I walked downstairs to Declan's office hoping to find him there. I looked around the tech labs and found him currently having a small meeting. I looked through the window and he smiled at me.
"I'll wait for you at the garden." I mouthed and he nodded. I went to the vending machine and grabbed an apple juice. I walked down to the garden and sat on the bench.
"Danielle? Is that you?" I turned to see Leah waving at me from a far.
"You're going home?" I asked.
"Yeah! Goodnight!" She said and I waved at her. She got into her car and left. I looked up to the sky and let out a breath of relieve.
I'm happy.. really happy now.
Suddenly I heard dogs barking, I turned to see Simba and Koda running towards me. I thanked Tori for letting them out. Tori is my secretary and she has been taking care of the dogs for me since we're building our house.
"You're such a good boy.." I said to Simba who came to me first. Koda was running around the garden by himself. I patted an empty space beside me and Simba sat there.
"Koda! Koda come here!" I got up and called that naughty boy.
"Danielle.." I turned to see Declan walking towards me and I smiled. I gave him a peck on the lips and he greeted Simba.
"Koda!" He called Koda too and he immediately ran towards us.
"You're done already?" I asked and he nodded.
"I was wondering if you want to go for a short ride.." He asked.
"A short ride?" I raised my eyebrows.
"Helicopter." He pointed at the helicopter above us.
"Sure." I said and we brought the dogs in. We just let them roam around since there's a lot of people inside. We got into the lift and went straight to the rooftop. Declan started the helicopter and I got in. I put on the headset.
Declan flew the helicopter and I started to see the beautiful city lights of Paris and even the beautiful Eiffel Tower. I was so amazed by the beautiful view and took a lot of photos with my phone.
I could feel the helicopter slowly going lower. I turned to Declan and then turned down to see- I turned back to Declan. He smiled to me.
"Let me land first." He said.
We landed on the old ILLICIT headquarters and on the big field there's a 'WILL YOU MARRY ME?' written with lights. I was trying so hard to keep my emotions together. As soon as the helicopter landed, I took off my seatbelt to looked at it from the rooftop.
Words can't come out from my mouth. I kept looking at it in awe and I turned to Declan who already kneeling down on one knee. I started crying and Declan too.
"Danielle." He said as he wiped his tears.
"Danielle Leone, I love you so much. I love you with all my heart, with all my soul and with all I have." He said as he took out a small black velvet box. He opened it revealing a beautiful ring.
"It's always been you and will always be you. Thank you for keeping up with me and loving all the imperfection that I have. Thank you for patiently waiting for me to properly heal. I don't know what my life would be without you."
"You give me a meaning of life and give me a reason to live. From now on, I want us to take a next step in life. I want you to be my forever. I want you to be the mother of my kids. I want us together until death separate us." I was crying so hard hearing it because I felt the same way as him.
"Danielle Leone, will you marry me?" He asked.
"Yes." I answered right away and hugged him. I buried my head to his chest and he kissed the top of my head.
"I love you, Danielle." He whispered to my ear.
"I love you too." I said completely crying in happiness. I pulled away and wiped my tears. I cupped his face and kissed him. He then put the ring to my finger and I looked at it.
"It's so beautiful."
"Glad that you like it." He said and I nodded. I turned to the beautiful lights on the field.
"It's beautiful. No wonder you didn't let me come with you this morning." I turned to him and he chuckled.
"I had to make sure it goes smoothly."
"Thank you." I said and he pulled me into a hug.
"I love you so much, Danielle."
