Hermione walked with Ginny to the classroom where the dance lessons would be given. Almost everyone was there already. A few seconds after Hermione and Ginny had walked in professor McGonagall came in.
'Hello everyone, are you ready for some dance lessons?' She said smiling.
'Yeaaaaah.' Seamus Finnigan said, thinking he was funny.
'Ah I heard there someone who would love to demonstrate the dance with me.' McGonagall said.
'Mister Finnigan come forward.' She said.
Everyone laughed except for Seamus. He walked slowly forward towards the professor McGonagall.
'Come on Finnigan.' The students yelled.
'Put your hand on my waist.' McGonagall said packing his other hand.
The music started and they started to dance. All the students were laughing and yelling stuff.
'Great job mister Finnigan.' McGonagall said after the song stopped.
'If you can dance you don't have to follow these lessons otherwise you have.' McGonagall said.
'And the names that I'm going to say now and their dates have to follow them too because they'll dance in honour of the people who didn't survive it.' McGonagall said.
'Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood.' McGonagall said.
'Who's your date mister Potter?' She asked.
'Ginny.' Harry said smiling.
'And you mister Weasley.' She asked.
'I don't know yet, I think Lavender.' Ron said.
'Mister Longbottom.' She said.
'Luna.' Neville said.
'And you miss Granger?' She asked.
'I'm going with Draco.' Hermione said smiling.
Professor McGonagall smiled and nodded.
'You don't have lessons today and I'll see you tomorrow again.' Professor McGonagall said.
They all walked out of the classroom and Hermione, Luna and Ginny went to Hogsmeade to buy their dresses.
'What kind of dress do you want?' Ginny asked.
'A green with silver one?' Ginny added laughing.
'Come on Ginny.' Hermione said smiling.
'Sorry.' Ginny said laughing.
'I don't know actually.' Hermione said.
'What do you want Luna?' Hermione asked.
'I was thinking of a blue dress.' Luna said.
'Nice!' Hermione said smiling.
'I think I'm going for uhm... Red or white.' Hermione said.
'I think I'm going for black or purple?.' Ginny said.
'Let's look in there.' Hermione said while she pointed at a store filled with dresses.
The three girls walked in there and a woman came towards them.
'Hello girls, can I help you?' The woman asked.
'Yes please.' Luna said.
'I was thinking of a blue dress.' Luna said.
'Long or short?' The woman asked.
'Surprise me.' Luna said smiling.
The woman nodded, packed a blue short dress and came back.
'This one?' The woman asked.
'It's great thank you.' Luna said smiling.
'What do you want?' The woman asked Ginny.
'I think I'll go for black and I think I want a short one.' Ginny said smiling.
The woman nodded, walked away and came back with a beautiful black dress.
'It's amazing.' Ginny said smiling.
'And for you dear?' The woman asked Hermione.
'I think I'm going for red and long.' Hermione said.
'I'll know the right one for you.' The woman said smiling and she walked away.
She came back with a beautiful long dress and it was red.
'It's beautiful.' Hermione said smiling.
The three girls payed and went back to Hogwarts after they drank butterbeer in the Three Broomsticks.
Ginny went back to the Gryffindor tower after they came back. She took Hermione's dress with her because Hermione would first go to the library.
'I saw how Ron reacted when you told him you went with Draco.' Luna said laughing.
'That was pretty funny indeed.' Hermione said laughing.
'Oh I think I have to go.' Luna said.
'Why?' Hermione asked.
'Someone wants to talk to you.' Luna said.
'How do you know?' Hermione asked.
Luna looked forwards and smiled.
'See you later.' Luna said smiling and she walked away.
Hermione looked up and saw Draco standing a few metres before her.
'Hee.' Draco said smiling and he walked towards her.
Draco gave her a hug and smiled.
'Did you buy a dress?' Draco asked.
'Yes.' Hermione said smiling.
'Do you want to show it?' Draco asked.
'Sorry, you'll have to wait till the ball.' Hermione said laughing.
'Aw come on please.' Draco said.
'No just wait.' Hermione said smiling and she kissed him.
