Nandani grabbed Cabir's coat, as she yelled fiercely, "What is your problem? Has Lucifer sent you to confirm Aryaman's demise after he shot him? Don't make me do something you'll come to regret."

"Calm down, Nandani," Cabir responded calmly. "I'm sure you wouldn't want your blood pressure to shoot."

"Why have you come here?" she screamed.

"Please, Ms. Murthy, calm down. Sir came here to settle the bills. He was doing you a favor," the receptionist chimed in, showing her the debit card as proof.

"What do you mean?" Nandani asked, taken aback by the revelation.

"He is footing the bill for Mr Khurrana's treatment," the receptionist said.

"You are welcome to keep my card. And please don't hesitate to ask for more money," Cabir offered with a smile.

She snatched the card and hurled it at Cabir's face. "First, your friend shoots him, and now you're here to offer condolences? Keep your money and get that jerk the help he needs. Take him to a psychiatrist," she seethed.

Nandani turned to leave, but her steps halted abruptly. She threw a bundle of crisp banknotes directly at Cabir's face. "Get yourself treated too, you lunatic. Take these notes and fuck off."

Cabir's pride was wounded by Nandani's scathing words and actions. The urge to inflict pain upon her, surged within him, but he fought to maintain his composure. He couldn't bring himself to harm the woman who held the heart of his dearest friend.

With a heavy heart, he returned home. He informed Manik about everything.

"I can't deal with her anymore. Move on
I am sure you'll find hotter chics than her," Cabir said, as he took a sip of his beer.

A frown danced across Manik's face, as he heard Cabir's words. "I believe she has feelings for that doctor."

"Nandani belongs to me. She belongs to Lucifer," Manik whispered taking a sip of his beer. "I love her, she can't love any other man, than me."

"She will never be yours, Manik, you murdered her fiance," Cabir shouted.

Manik pulled out a gun from his pocket pointing it towards Cabir.

"What are you doing?" Cabir trembled, fear evident in his eyes. "I'm your friend."

"That's why you're still breathing," Manik declared. "Anyone who tries to tear Nandini away from me shall meet their end."

Cabir saw madness in Manik's eyes. He warned, "Listen, mate, you're about to make a grave mistake. You're inviting trouble, and I genuinely hope you won't end up regretting it.

Manik's laughter echoed through the room. "There's only one thing I know. Nandani is an angel and falling in love with her will be my last sin! She will be my devastation, she will be my death." Manik laughed like a maniac.
