"Nandini belongs to me. She belongs to Lucifer," Manik whispered, taking a sip of his beer.
"She will never be yours, Manik. You killed her fiancé," Cabir shouted, his voice filled with anger.
Manik pulled out a gun from his pocket, pointing it at C...

Nandani's eyes fluttered open, only to be momentarily shut due to a streak of light falling onto her face. It took her a few seconds to acclimate to the gentle glow. She found herself in a room she was familiar with. Her heart raced within her chest as the realization washed over her - she was in Manik's bedroom.
Memories of last night flashed before her eyes. Her hands and body quivered with fear and disgust as she recollected the memories of how the devil mercilessly severed the head of his enemy.
Nandani, her body covered with bandages, found herself clad in a white shirt, one that she guessed belonged to Manik. She muttered, "I have to get out of this hell."
She ran towards the door, her heart pounding. To her astonishment, it swung open effortlessly. She descended the stairs hastily, when she collided with someone. But before she could touch the floor, a pair of muscular arms wrapped around her.
She heard a seductive voice, whispering in her ear, "Where are you going, mon chérie?"
Her body froze in place as she saw Manik standing before her. He was shirtless. Nandani noticed bullet wounds on his shoulder and abdomen.
Taking a sip of his beer, he was ogling her milky white legs.
"I asked you something, mon ange," he murmured, "I hate repeating myself."
Nandani stammered. "H...H...O...M...E." She despised herself for being weak in front of him.
The devil's lips curled into a sinister smirk. "Speak a little louder," he chuckled. "You don't have to be afraid of me. I won't bite you. At least, not now."
Her eyes widened in fear. But she mustered her strength and spoke, "I'm going home."
"HOME?" Manik's eyebrow arched. "But, mon ange, this is your home, and you must stay here for the rest of your life!"
Nandani shouted defiantly, "What? No! I won't stay in this hell."
"Do you honestly think I care about your opinion, mon chaton?" Manik chortled. "You belong to Lucifer, and you will stay here eternally, whether you like it or not."
"I am not one of your whores, ready to bow down to your every command. NANDANI MURTHY doesn't take orders. Did you hear what I said, you scumbag? Now move out of my way and let me go," she shoved him aside.
Angrily, Manik threw his beer glass on the floor and swiftly cornered Nandani, pressing her against the wall.
"You will remain here forever, mon ange," he growled. "There are rules to be followed. Rule #1: Think twice before you speak. I will not condone insolence."
"Stop doing such deeds then,"Nandani screamed furiously. "Stop poking your filthy nose into my life and mind your own damn business."
Manik pulled out a dagger from his jeans and placed it on her neck. "Disrespect me once more, and your throat shall be slit."
