Note: This I guess could count as a sort of fix-it for what could've happened after Civil War. I had the idea as I listened to this song and just rolled with it, so I hope you all like it!

Peter had just finished school and was exiting the tower's elevator when he walked into an absolute shit show.

Everyone was yelling and screaming, pointing fingers at each other, cussing each other out to their heart's content. The teen froze in shock, not even having the strength to speak. He just stood there, unnoticed by the heroes.

A particularly loud slap was heard, shaking Peter out of his daze. Silent tears started running down his face as he sprinted and locked himself in his room. The spider dropped his bag carelessly, curling into a ball on the floor next to it.

He couldn't breathe. Why were they fighting? They shouldn't be back yet! They almost killed Mr. Stark! Why does everyone always have to fight?!

Then he realized an unfortunate fact: they would never stop. He would always be doomed to listen to what he saw as his family fight.

After a few minutes, Peter regained his breath and calmed down slightly. Though this didn't help much, since the fighting persisted. He couldn't block it out. The pain and noise would never go away, so he decided to distract himself and make some noise of his own (not that he thought they would hear it of course).

Why can't we all just get along

As Peter started to sing, FRIDAY blared a small siren into the common room, gaining the attention of everyone. "Boss, Captain, you both need to stop!"

Tony looked up at the ceiling. "Why?! He almost fucking killed me!"

"Because if you don't, I'm afraid you're gonna lose one of the people you love most. He will leave."

"Who?" Schmaptin Schmerica asked.

"Listen for yourself." FRIDAY snapped. She then patched Peter's audio into the room and stayed silent.

Tony started tearing up. "Fri, did he hear us?"

"Of course he did Boss. Today is Lab day and he walked out the elevator to find you all fighting."
