Othello

15 1 1

As someone who I thought trustworthy,
May lie dead,
I stand here before you,
With anger and pain in my veins.
I believed you,
My love,
To be unfaithful,
And full of lust,
So I prepared myself,
As I stood there before you in your rest,
For I will not shed your blood,
Nor scar you,
But with a heart once full of love for you,
Now just holds anger and jealousy,
As you begged me not to do what I prepared for,
I could only hear myself,
As my thoughts gave me justice for everything,
The anger,
The jealousy,
And you.

As you lay there now,
Not a breath of life left,
I feel my heart hurt more than before,
But soon that hurt was masked,
Because I felt I did a justly act.
But with Emilia confessing,
The pain broke through,
As the act had been unjust,
And the one I thought that was ever so faithful,
Trustworthy,
And looking out for my heart,
Had been the one to tear us,
Use me,
And put these thoughts in my head,
For their benefit.
As the truth came,
I could do nothing but look at you,
And feel the love and sorrow for you,
For what I had done,
Had been out of anger and jealousy,
And it clouded my thoughts,
But the love for you came back,
As the truth stated that you were yet the innocent one.
And I,
With this weapon in my hand,
Am the guilty.

So as I am here,
Next to you,
I wish for you to forgive me,
As I repent for my unjustly action,
For now you are gone forever,
With my action that was wrong and clouded,
And I wish to see you again,
And love you as before.
With yet another sad action,
I say goodbye to this life,
And yet pray that you forgive me,
And that you'll welcome me with open arms,
Even though my unforgiving actions,
Caused you pain.

As of now,
This world is not for me anymore,
For when I did the action,
I thought that I would be something better,
But I see now,
As the action was made with anger and jealousy,
Without you I am nothing.
My thoughts as of now,
That I was made a fool,
And I rewarded the one who made me that way,
And I hurt the one who I shouldn't have.
My love,
I hope you hear this prayer,
Full of regret,
Honesty,
And repentance,
And that you'll forgive me,
For here I come now,
Back to you,
Forever this time,
As promised before,
My love,
I shall see you soon.
