This Is What I Am

I am a forgotten one,
Although I am friendly.
I am a forgotten one,
Although, I want to be like the mighty phoenix,
I want to rise up from any ash and be as strong as ever.
I am a forgotten one,
Although, I want to be like the mighty dragon,
Strong, brave, wonderous and mythical.
But I am a forgotten one,
So, I feel like I'm a demon of some sort.

I am tired.
I am tired of the fact that I feel like my only home is somewhere else in the world.
Maybe It's in the forest where the panda lives,
Maybe it's in the mountains,
Maybe It's in the caves deep in the ocean,
Maybe it's where the snow falls warmly,
Maybe it's in a garden where the fae dance happily,
Maybe it's where the soft music from a piano puts a lover to sleep.
I don't know where it is,
But when I find it, I'll treat it like silver and gold,
My treasure, precious to me and my own.

I am blue,
I feel like I live where it constantly rains,
With this rain, I know it will flood eventually.
I'll wish I was fish so I could swim,
But I know I would just be swept up by the current.
I know I will feel trapped here,
And I'll be too anxious to move,
As if Cerberus was in front of me,
Growling and howling, warning me not to move.
I would wish I could be a turtle,
A hard shell to protect me from the dangers in front of me,
But I know I would be to slow to be safe in time.
I wish I would be a tiger then maybe I would be strong,
But I know I wouldn't be strong enough to fight Cerberus off.

I am like a piano,
Making music creatively,
Being a nerd helps in this fact.
I wish I could hear the other wonderful instruments around me,
The flute,
The harp,
The ocarina,
The drums,
All the instruments, I wish I could hear them,
I know they all have a beautiful song that complements mine,
But me being blue clouds my hearing,
I can't hear the wonderful words they sing, 
I can't hear the amazing pieces they play,
I can't hear.
So, I just close my eyes, as it all goes black.
