Said this in the 1st entry but I fuckin love the tombow line of water-based pens. They blend so nicely, are reasonably priced AND they do not have the noxious odor that copics have so I can use them all day. :)

Typically I really only use color for drawing still life or mature type drawings bc I'm not great at drawing people in color but I've been giving it a try and it's not so bad

This one I really like the look of the naturalstyle. If I did this in a monochromatic way I think it would have a very different and less whimsical feeling.

My scanner has been doing this compression thing so my scans haven't been great recently, I'm not sure how to fix the problem, it seems like ok ne of those "planned obsolescence" flaws with the firmware, but I kinda work around ut by using WIA import on cs5 but it doesn't quite scan it...right? Like it flattens the image. It's good enough really, I don't make huge prints anyways.

But it does annoy me bc I'm not good enough at computers to fix it.

This is more reflective of my usual use of color, in that I might add a bl9ck of it as more of a composition element than actually make a full color image

I do, indeed, have a full set of tombows but I primarily use them for my flower sculptures bc they dry quickly on crepe paper. They also have natural tones that aren't super obnoxious so it's nice to use them for a more natural look.

I like adding spots of decay or bruises to my flowers bc it makes them look less fake

I like adding spots of decay or bruises to my flowers bc it makes them look less fake. Even from a distance, a couple spots or a strategic cut or rumpled gives off a more natural appearance.

Bonus pic of Gus being cute. He THINKS he's being coy with me,but I know damn well that he really can't be trusted.
