It's not that bad but wow is it weird to look at your old art, yknow? Most of these are like 2013- 2016ish for when I drew them so it's a bit dated. I'd like to think my aesthetic has evolved but nah, I'm still on my bullshit, I never stepped off if, but I'd like to think while I will never truly leave my goth stuff behind, that my art skills have gotten better. I ditched the sadness but kept the aesthetic.
These came from a weird time in which I used digital for money reasons, but:
- for whatever reason I don't have good control with a tablet and my clumsy bullshit and shaky hands made a big ol road blockOne bonus:
adding in layers of texture is super quick so fabric patterns are very quick to use. I enjoyed the ease of it
I just copy pasted my old photos as backgrounds and grey scaled them. Lmao
It's a bit of a trade off but idk. I think that the end of it is that I can't change my shaky bullshit hands and so, I do think that going back to pen and ink (and actually being medicated) has made my artwork SO MUCH better.
Adonis. Same jack ass, better quality art. :p
