Walking into the school as usual, I had music blasting through my ears. I stoped by my locker to get the books I needed for my first three classes.
I felt a hand on my shoulders, without turning to look at the person, I threw the hands off my shoulder
"Easy there tiger, I've been calling you for the past 30 minutes". Scarlet complained (Leave to Scarlet to always exaggerate)
Scarlet has been my best friend since fifth grade ever since she threatened the school bully then that she would glue his mouth together if he ever made fun of my SpongeBob SquarePants lunch box ever again. She has a killer body, sharp mouth and will not hesitate to punch you in the face if you are being mean to her or her friends. She is a crazy girl, knows almost everyone in school and also exaggerates a lot, I think that's obvious already *cue the eye rolling*.
I rolled my eyes and turn around to face her "I've not spent five minutes here, so how have you been calling me for the past 30 minutes" I said flatly
"I'm sorry Mother Queen" Putting my hands up in surrender when I saw her glaring at me.
"1,2,3,4..." I counted under my breath
"Omg, I have physics this morning, why do I always have all the worst subject as my first class and today being monday does not help at all" She said throwing her hands up for dramatic effect.
"C'mon, let's get our pretty little butts to class, I don't wanna be late"
"You know you sound like a nerd right now and FYI my butt is pretty big to be called little"
"Whatever" I replied rolling my eyes
Weaving my way through the crowd, I got to my class but no one except for Miss Clark was present. Don't get me wrong, I'm neither a nerd nor a shy person but I'm the kind of girl who just wants to stay in her bed all day, reading novels or watching movies with a big bowl of ice-cream beside her and that's absolute bliss.
"Good morning Miss Clark"
"Good morning Ivy" She greeted back
I walked to the back of the class, What?, I love my peace, besides nobody sits beside me. After what seemed five minutes, the bell rang and looked up from my phone to see that the class was already filled up.
"Okay class, this year as you are aware is your final year___Pay absolute attention this year, not just in my subject but also in your other subjects, Miss Clark advised looking around the class to see the reactions of the students
"This might be good" I said under my breath sighing
"Mr White, how nice of you to join us" She sassed
'Yeah, I just got transferred to this class" Jace replied either he didn't know Miss Clark was being sassy or he just didn't care.
Jace White, the most popular guy in school, with his electric blue eyes, dark brown hair and sharp jaw line he has almost all the female population falling at his feet, you know what I mean. To be honest, the boy sure looks like a demi-god but he's way too cocky for my liking.
"You can find yourself a seat" Miss Clark said looking towards him
I looked around and saw that there still a lot of seat he could occupy. Luckily for me he sat beside one of his friends.
After the class and the next and the next came lunch period. I went to library to eat the packed lunch my nanny prepared for me.
"Good afternoon Mrs. Rosa. She was our librarian who grew fond of me because of the amount of time I spend in the library, if I'm not in the class,I'm either at the library or the cafeteria during lunch period (occassionally)
"Ivy, you are here again"
Mrs. Rosa, I come here everyday remember" I stated childishly
"Oh my!, silly girl, you know I was just pulling your legs
"Yeah, I know" I replied smiling making my way to the farthest corner of the library
I sat down at my usual spot and took out lunch, (normally I'm not supposed to eat in the library but I guess I was Mrs. Rosa favourite, so she does not complain) which consist of a peanut butter sandwich and a soda and my copy of ' Privileged'. I read while I eat.
Damn it, I forgot to text Scarlet because there was an unspoken rule between us to always call her whenever I'm coming to the cafeteria for lunch.
I took my phone out to text her (Ivy text in bold letters and Scarlet text in italics)
Hey!, what's up
What's up???, Where have been idiot?😡
Sorry, I'm in the library, I kinda forgot to tell you
Fine, lunch ends in five minutes, we will see at biology
Okay
I put my phone aside finished my meal and cleaned up because I didn't want to misuse the opportunity given to me by Mrs. Rosa. Bidding Mrs.Rosa goodbye I ran the hall because I didn't want to be late for Biology.
And that's how I do spend my day, I'm boring, aren't I?
