Sam was sitting next to the fence inside the pasture, lazily leaning against a fence post and petting one of the cows, who was laying beside him and resting their head on his lap. The creeper hybrid loved his cows, they brought him an unusual comfort, he always felt better after a rough day when he went and spent a little time with the cows. It's weird how gentle these beasts could really be, for these ones especially had gored previous owners in the past, they were set up to be sold to a butcher when Sam stopped them, buying them for a lot more than they were worth. But they made him happy. After relaxing with the cows for a few more hours, Sam got up and left the pasture, walking over to the prime path and heading to Ponk's house. When he reached the house, which resided within the trunk of a lemon tree, he gently knocked on the door, waiting patiently for a response. Ponk opened the door a few moments later, surprisingly shirtless, "Hey Sam! Didn't expect to see you today! Come on in!!" The shorter exclaimed, smiling wide. Sam laughed, walking into the quaint house before questioning, "What's with you not wearing a shirt?" At that, Ponk scoffed, "Funny story!" He paused momentarily, grabbing a few lemons off the counter and beginning to prepare some lemonade for the duo, "I got up this morning and did my normal routine, up until getting dressed, that is. I went to grab a shirt, and behold, there was none. I forgot to do laundry yesterday." He snickered after explaining that. Sam rolled his eyes playfully, "You're awful peppy for a day with no shirt." Ponk nodded at that, adding a bit of water to the small pitcher of lemon juice. The smaller of the two took a sip from the pitcher after adding the water, smiling when the lemonade was just sour enough for his liking, he then poured two glasses of it, putting the rest in the fridge. "Alright, Sammy, how about you take a seat on the couch? We can watch The Walking Dead or something." Sam nodded, grabbing his glass of lemonade and heading into the living room, where he sat down on the couch. Ponk joined him soon after, sitting next to him before messing with the TV remote.

Later that night, Ponk was sitting in Sam's lap, the larger of the two wrapping his arms securely around the smaller, rubbing his sides absentmindedly. Ponk groaned softly, his head falling back onto Sam's shoulder and his eyes drooping with boredom, "You alright?" Sam murmured, pausing his actions. "Yeah, I'm just a bit bored... want to go to my room and lay down? Maybe we could play a game or something??" Ponk asked, leaning into Sam's gentle touch. "Sure," Sam replied, chuckling at Ponk's eagerness to go to his room and get off the couch. Ponk was the first one up, skipping to his room, while Sam turned off the TV, locked the front door, and followed after.

After a long night of playing Clue and other, more intimate activities, the two fell asleep in each other's arms. They were so tired, they slept in their clothes, not bothering to change into pajamas or strip down to their boxers. They peacefully slept the night away, happy to be in each other's warm embrace.

The next morning, Ponk awoke first, gently pressing a kiss to Sam's forehead, "Wake up, sleepy head~" he said softly, stroking the taller's unruly pine green hair. Sam groaned quietly, opening his eyes slowly and smiling when he saw Ponk, "Mmmhm~" Sam huffed playfully, ending it with a groggy, "Mmmornin'." Ponk giggled, cupping Sam's face in his hands, "I got a surprise for us today, so you'd better wake up soon, or I'll leave without ya!" He added a swift wink after speaking, a smirk playing on his lips. Sam let out a soft chuckle, fixing the position of his mask before rolling out of Ponk's bed and standing up to stretch. Once the two were done getting ready, Ponk grabbed a small picnic basket and then grabbed Sam's hand, gently dragging him out of the house. They then traveled to a cute little overlook, it was filled with flowers and sat high above the rest of the SMP, giving the pair a view of a pretty birch forest in the distance and parts of the SMP. Ponk set down the picnic basket and pulled out a blanket, he then laid it on the ground and then set the basket atop it, taking a seat beside it and then gently patting the blanket next to him, signaling Sam to sit there. The creeper hybrid obliged, sitting beside his beloved and gently putting a hand on his face before he could pull anything out of the picnic basket, "You look so beautiful..." he murmured, causing a light dusting of blush to cover Ponk's face. He then leaned forward, allowing their foreheads to touch, "I'm so glad I met you, you're the best thing to ever happen to me..." Ponk giggled at that, "You're too kind." The two sat in silence for a while before pulling away. Ponk grabbed the picnic basket and began to take the food out, setting it down between them so they could grab whatever they wanted. Sam carefully slipped off his mask, taking a few grapes and a strawberry or two from the fruit bowl and popping them into his mouth, chewing happily with a smile on his face. "You really like grapes and strawberries, don't you?" Ponk asked, smiling. Sam nodded, grabbing another strawberry. Before Sam could grab anything else, Ponk brought a grape to the taller's lips, hand feeding him. Sam gladly ate the grape, smiling wide, still not making a sound. The two ate in silence for a bit longer, before Ponk spoke up, "You enjoying the food?" Sam nodded, wiping his mouth with a napkin. Ponk smiled softly, "I'm glad... we should go for picnics more often, it's a lot of fun and I enjoy spending time with you." Sam nodded in reply, looking Ponk in the eye, "Why haven't you said anything yet? Too busy eating?" Ponk chuckled, looking at Sam, who shook his head, his eyes wide with worry. Ponk stopped laughing, "Is everything ok?" Sam nodded again, trying to change the subject somehow as he reached for his mask, being unable to find it. The large male began to panic, his eyes widening slightly as he looked around for his mask, he couldn't find it anywhere, Ponk looked at him, worried, "Sam? What's wrong?" Sam looked him in the eyes, frantically beginning to point to the lower half of his face and then his throat, trying to signal he needed his mask to talk. Ponk didn't understand at first until Sam tried sign language, which he was surprised Ponk knew. "I need my mask to talk. Please help me find it." Ponk's eyes widened, but he nodded quickly before looking around for the mask, eventually finding it hidden under the picnic basket's lid. The smaller handed it to his lover quickly, watching as the creeper hybrid quickly strapped it on. "I'm sorry for not telling you before..." Ponk nodded slowly, "It's alright, Sam... I just... don't know what to say..." "If you don't want to associate with me anymore, it's fine, you don't need to..." Sam said quietly, avoiding eye contact. "What?! Why wouldn't I want to associate with you?! You're literally my everything!" Ponk cupped Sam's face in his hands, staring the taller in the eyes, "But... I was being dishonest by not telling you..." Ponk sighed, inhaling deeply before speaking, "Do you think that would make me hate you?? No! I wouldn't hate you for such a stupid reason! Sam, I love you so much!!" The small male trailed off, furrowing his eyebrows. Sam leaned forward, allowing their foreheads to touch, "I'm sorry... I love you, Ponk." The two then sat in silence, relishing the other's company, one too afraid to speak for he worried he ruined what they had, and the other content with what he learned and how he must change.
