Chapter 6: The Fun One

"Karkat?" Feferi asks into the dark room and a teenage boys voice shouts "Leave me alone!!", suddenly I hear something fall, probably Feferi's phone. "Get out!!" The voice shouts and I see light on the ceiling peak in from the doorway and quickly escape the room along with Feferi.

I was alone with Karkat. "Um. Karkat?" I spoke unknowingly of what to do. "I said leave me alone!" He shouts, thinking I'm Feferi at the door. "Hey, It's okay. What's wrong?"
"Nothing!"
"I know it's not my business but please tell me"
"It's exactly none of your business."
"Alright, Then how are you?"
"That's the same f*cking thing."
"Not exactly the same thing, Uh, By the way, I think I'm on your floor."
"My floor?" He says sniffling and I hear footsteps walk towards the phone and a shuffle as I'm being picked up. Suddenly I hear a high pitched beep as I am faced to a male troll in high definition. His face was a shade of red and his eyes were shut, leaking tears of red, his horns were smaller than the other trolls horns, almost resembling candy corn, His black hair was a mess as he put his head down on the table. "Who are you?" He said looking up, I guess he plugged the phone into his computer.
"I'm ________."
"Hi." He spoke calmly, Not in such an angered tone that I've heard before.
"Karkat, Are you alright?"
"Yeah I'm fine.. There's nothing wrong with me I'm perfect."
"No ones perfect. Not even leaders."
"What are you trying to say?!"
"I'm saying! Nothing is wrong with feeling sad."
"I-I'm not sad" he sniffles wiping his own tears away.
"Karkat, What's wrong"
"I just, I'm not a good enough leader. Honestly, Sollux would be better.."
"How are you not good enough?"
"Well, my team constantly turns against me and I don't have a ..." His voice trailed off into a mumble.
"A what?"
"A ..." He mumbled yet again.
"Karkat"
"A crown.." He says ashamed.
"Why do you need a crown?"
He looked at me in shock, "I think I'd look pretty f*cking good with a crown!" He shouted.
"A crown."
"Yes! Made of the finest gold, and the crispest rubies!"
"I have a crown kinda like that but it's for cosplay"
"How dare you use such a fine piece of jewelry for such nonsense?!"
"You're starting to sound proper"
"F*ck!"
"Hehe"
"Who the f*ck says 'Hehe' it's weird!" Karkat says making a disgusted face.
"Who isn't weird?"
"Me! Because I'm the best there is!" Karkat smiled a bit.
"Wow, a real smile." I smiled back.
His face turned a shade of red once again and he laughed "Shut the f*ck up weirdo."
