In his house outside Seoul, Kai was hysterically laughing. He could just imagine Kim Jisoo's miserable face.
"Oh God, this is fun. I wonder what is his reaction after finding out that I'm the one who hurt her precious wife. Especially when she realizes that I'm already gone?" grin.
"You are probably flipping upside down now Kim Jisoo. Cursing my name." Kai let out a loud laugh.
Kai looked at the life-size painting of him and Jennie that he personally painted.
"Just a little more, my love we will be together and never be apart again. Wait for a little and I will take you with me and we will be happy forever." Kai softly smiles at Jennie's painting.
"Just you and me. You will never leave my side, Jennie. I will do everything within my power to make you stay with me. Unlike those girls, like my mother you won't leave me. I know already why you left me, ignore my feelings it is because of that Kim Jisoo. You are forced to marry him. I know you don't really love him. You hated him, right baby? It is me you love, it is me who you belong to. Only to me."
Kai clenches his fist as he thought about how happy Jisoo was for stealing the woman he loves.
Three months have passed and Jennie gave no sign that she will wake up anytime. The baby inside her is growing perfectly.
The police and investigator continue their search for Kai, but it seems like the man just disappears in thin air.
They've searched everywhere, posted his faces everywhere and provide a hefty amount of money to whoever can tell where the man is hiding. There are no signs that he left the country but there are also possibilities that maybe he already did leave Korea.
Jisoo just comes back from work and like her everyday routine, he always goes to the hospital to spend time with her wife.
Jennie is almost in her 7months, just a few more months and she will undergo C-section to give birth for their child.
"Hey baby, how are you today? Did your friends visit you? Baby, don't you miss me? Cause I miss you so much. I miss your laugh, your smile, the way you call me hubby. I miss your screaming and calling me names when you are annoyed at me." Jisoo wiped her tears. "I miss your hugs and kisses. I miss holding you in your sleep and most of all, I miss your love. Please wake up love."
"You've been sleeping for months now, aren't you tired love? You're back, doesn't it feel sore for lying down all day?"
Jisoo was about to continue to talk to her wife when she sees her lips quiver, she knits her eyebrow as if she is in great pain.
Jisoo quickly presses the button connected to the nurse's station.
"Nurse! Doctor come quickly, my wife she's in pain!"
The doctor and nurse quickly ran to Jennie's room. The doctor checked the patient. He can't see anything wrong with her health. Her heartbeat is rather fast, the doctor once again looks at her patient face then something strikes him.
"Have the emergency room ready, she is going to premature delivery!" Two nurses ran out of the room who the two other and the doctor help Jennie's body to move her to the delivery room.
"Doc, what is happening?"
"Mr. Kim, we have to deliver your child."
"But my child due is not until three months!"
"If we don't deliver the child now, there will be more complication coming to your wife we might lose one of them."
Jisoo's heart tightened. "Do what you have to do to save them, Doctor.''
"It's my job to make sure they are both safe." The doctor pats Jisoo's shoulder before he left her outside the emergency room.
Jisoo quickly called her parents and parents in law to tell the news about her wife's emergency delivering their child. Just an hour later their parents came.
"what's happening???" Jennie's Mother asks Jisoo.
"Jennie suddenly moved but didn't wake up. It...its like she's in so much pain. Then the doctor says they have to...to take the baby out before their life be both in danger."
"Oh, God." Jennie's Mother covered her mouth and cries.
Jisoo hugged her mother in law. "They will be okay mom."
Not far from where Jennie's family are, a person wearing a black jacket, cap, and a mask was intently listening to them. A smile crept on his lips as he secretly throwing glances to the Kims.
"It seems like it won't be long and you'll be mine, Jennie. We will be together in no time."
After looking at the people waiting for Jennie for the last time, the man stands up and left the hospital with a smile on his lips.
