Thirty-three

Kai's mother watched his son's car from her balcony. She has forgotten when was the last time his son called her 'mom'. Maybe it was that day when she left them almost 30 years ago.

Jongin was just a little boy at that time. He was a sweet and loving little boy. She loves his son more than anything in this world, she never plans to leave him, them but his father constant abuse made her do it.

She wants to take him with her but his father won't let her have the child.

Flashback:

"if you are going to leave, then leave!" Kai's father pointed at the door.
"The door is wide open!"

"Give Jongin to me! I won't leave him with you!"

"My son will stay here! You can't take him with you!"

"please.....give me my son, I can't live without him..."

"Then I suggest you to die!" I am not giving you my son! He doesn't need a whore like you!"

"Mommy, Daddy..." Little Kai walked out of his room and went to his parents, he was rubbing his eyes while looking at his mother. "What's going on?"

Kai's father grabbed his son before his wife does.

"You're mother is leaving us, son."

"Where is she going, Dad? When is she coming back?"

"She is going to live with her new family. And she is not coming back."

"But we are her family." Little Kai looks at her mom. "Mommy, don't leave me and daddy.' The little boy began to shed tears

"Jongin" Kai's mother called his son's name softly. "I will leave now but I promise to come back for you and take you with me."

"M...mommy..." Kai cried and tried to reach out for his mother. "M...mommy..please take me with you!"

End of Flashback.

That was the last time she saw her precious son. A week after she left their home, she heard that they moved to Cambridge.

Jongin was 10 when she met him in the United State and tried to pursue him to go with her. But the moment she saw the hate, pain and anxiety in her son's eyes she knew he was not the same boy she left.

She finds out that her son commits a lot of bad action during the past years at a very young age. He hurt people around him.

"Madam, Sir Jongin is in the waiting room." Her butler announced.

"I'll be down in a moment."

She looks at herself in the mirror. After almost three decades she has not seen her son. For almost thirty years that he ignores her attempt to get closer to him, her Jongin, she will finally meet him again.

Kai can't believe that after all those years she declined her mother's invitation to meet her, he will still run to her for help.

All his life after she left, he tried to forget her and accept her father's new wife as his mother. His stepmom showed him so much love and care but his heart still yearns for her biological mother. It took him quite a long time to accept that she ain't coming back as she promised.

Not only once her mother tried to reach for him but he ignores it. Every call, every email, gifts, and meetups. He ignored it all.

For what she wanted to see him? To catch up for the years she wasn't there for him when she needed her the most? Her stepmom was there to fill up the space she left in her life

Then what is he doing here right now?

He has nowhere to go. He needs her help and her money to execute all his plan.

"Jongin..."

Kai snapped his head to the door just to see the woman who abandoned him for years. She looks well, class, and rich.

"It's Kai now." He corrects her. "Nobody calls me in my real name now."

"I see Kai..." His mother takes the seat across his son. "After all those years i tried to reach out for you and declined all my attempts, why the sudden change of mind?"

"I'm not going to beat around the bush now." Kai looks at her mother. "I need money. A lot of money."

"What made you think I am going to help you?"

"You owe me that. You abandoned me when I was barely a child. You left me and ruin my life. So it is only right to ask you to pay for it."

"Not only once i tried to take you with me but you didn't." She sigh. "Jon...I mean Kai, i know what kind of crisis you are in now. Why don't you just surrender yourself?"

"surrender? Are you fucking kidding me?! After all those things i did, do you think those people will keep me alive?!"

"son..."

"Just give me money and i will be out of your way. Your money is all that i need for you."

"What if i don't give you any?" She asks.

"look, if i have to rob your house or hurt all the  people her I will do it just to have all your money, so don't force me."

"How much do you need?"

"Just enough to destroy Kim Jisoo."

"Kim Jisoo?" Kai's mother shakes her head. "Do you mean the ex- general's son?"

"I dunno who the hell is his father, but one thing is sure i want him out of my way.

"I will help you."

"Let's just say that the ex-general owe me a lot." Kai's mother stand up and walk to the window. "I will help you with everything you might need."

"Anything?"

"Anything. Everything."

Kai smirk. Seems like asking her mother's help is a great idea.

Jisoo was in the couch in her wife's hospital room, looking after her kids.

She smiled when she saw her girls holding hands in thier incubator.

"Hey little ones what are you two doing?" Jisoo hold her girls' feet and gently rub them.
