Missing

Kai's POV:

I woke up the next morning, and found myself chained to the bed in medbay. What happened? My mouth felt as it was on fire, and I was breathing heavily. I then saw smoke in my face, then realized that was me breathing! When I breathed out like that there was smoke! Breathing normally was fine, but breathing heavily was just smoke! I felt a glare from my right, and looked over to see Zane looking at me. His robotic eyes never looked more fearfull, was he afraid of Me? "Everything...Okay Zane...? I said a bit hesitantly. Zane slowly nodded, then turned and walked out of the medbay closing the door being him. "Wait Zane! Get me out of this! What did I do!" I helled at the titanium ninja walking away from the medbay.
I could hear talking outsite the room though, It was my team. "So Lloyd, what should we do?" Cole asked. "Yea! He was a maniac a few hours ago! He was breathing fire and for Ninjago's sake his eyes were on fire! And now they're red!" Jay yelled adding on to the problem at hand. We're my eyes red? I could've looked if I wasn't tied up. Then I froze in fear as to what I heard next; "We could bring him to the new science lab in Ninjago City, they could run a few test and see what's wrong. They might be able to get answers we can't" Lloyd said sternly. "Yes, but it's a very private labratory, and little is known about how they work. Nobody even knows who works there nor the owner" Zane added. I then heard Nia say it might be for the best, I was shocked, they were going to send me to some lab they knew nothing about.
I knew what happened in labs, experiments and more experiments, they just want answers! Counting it's a lab that nobody knows nothing about exept for where it is! I wanted out, the chains were just normal chains, so I used my elemental power to heat up the metal to bend it. I have to admit, even as a fire ninja, it hurt. The metal melting onto my wrists, it wasn't pleasent. I tried not to scream as my skin nearly burned off, and it did in some places where the metal directly fell. I then got out, and then got my legs out. I had one way out, the door. There was no window or vent from medbay, only the door. I feared if I walked out, what my friends would do. Would they stop me? Before I could decide of a plan, I felt a wave of pain overcome my body. I fell to my knees, and as I did I accidentally knocked over some of Zane's glass vitals. I felt as my mouth began to burn again, then a red light from my eyes glow on the ground right infront of me. I felt as my body burned up, and I started to laugh uncontrollably. I looked up as my friends burst through the door to see me free. I saw shocked faces glued onto theirs, and then I saw them look up. When I fell, I had bumped a shelf, and a giant object was just about to fall off. I wanted to move, but my body didn't. I kept laughing, until it fell and hit my head. Ow! It was heavy!
