I've tried doing a semi-realistic piece, it's more of a painting in my opinion, but I'm very proud! It took a day and a half, but it was worth it! What I did was;

Blocked it out, sorry I didn't take a picture with it over the reference, but this is was it looked like. After, I filled it with a vase color and changed the opacity, no picture, sorry!
I did take a half-way picture tho, it isn't the final art but, I was just experimenting with the brush I imported

The muzzle fur is a little off, and the cheek fur isn't the best I change the eyes and nose in the final too

I really want to try this with another animal, maybe I'll do Zero? I don't draw him nearly enough with the amount of love and appreciation I have for him I might do River too, but other than that I'm proud of myself
