Time skip to when enricos mates arrive in the office
Lucius' POV
After receiving a letter stating my youngest mate had been found — and that I would meet the rest of my bonded circle — I stepped into the green flames of my Floo, landing directly in Ragnok's office.
"Good morning," I said, brushing soot from my robes. "I was told to come immediately?"
"Yes, Mr. Malfoy," Ragnok said, glancing at the magical clock on his desk. "We're just waiting for the others to arrive."
As if on cue, two sharp cracks echoed through the room — the sound of Apparition. I turned and immediately recognized them: Severus Snape and... Arthur Weasley?
Before I could process that, my eyes landed on the unfamiliar boy standing to the right of Ragnok's desk. Tall. Long blue hair. Vibrant, strange eyes. He looked nervous. Fragile. Powerful.
Ragnok cleared his throat. "Now that you're all here... there's something you must know. This young man is Enrico Riddle-Black — your youngest mate. He is the biological son of Tom Riddle and Sirius Black. Until this morning, he was known to you all as Harry Potter."
My stomach dropped.
Harry Potter? He's... ours?
And Severus? And Weasley?
Three mates?
I barely had time to digest the shock before I noticed Enrico's breathing start to change — short, rapid gasps, his chest heaving. His eyes had gone wide and unfocused, and tears were already falling down his cheeks.
I exchanged a glance with Severus — he nodded in understanding.
I stepped forward just slightly, keeping my tone calm and my hands visible.
"Enrico, look at me," I said softly. "You're safe. I'm not going to come any closer unless you want me to. My hands are right here. No one is going to hurt you, I promise."
His breathing quickened — shallow and fast. A full-blown panic attack.
I knelt down a bit, keeping myself grounded and non-threatening. "Hey, hey... you're okay. This is safe. You're safe now. I know everything feels overwhelming, but I'm not going anywhere. Neither are they."
I paused, breathing calmly myself, so he could mirror me. "Can you try something for me? Just breathe with me. In through your nose... that's it... and out through your mouth. Slow. Just like that. In... and out..."
It took a few minutes, but the panic in his eyes began to fade. His shoulders started to loosen. His breaths grew deeper. His tears slowed.
"I'm sorry," Enrico whispered, wiping his face. "I... I don't even know what set that off."
"Don't apologize," I said, gently. "You've been through more than anyone ever should. It's okay. You don't have to handle it alone anymore."
"Exactly," Severus said, his voice unusually soft. "You have us now."
Arthur stepped closer. "And we'll never let you go through anything alone again."
I took a cautious step forward. "Can I hug you? Only if you're comfortable with it."
Enrico hesitated for just a heartbeat, then nodded. He crossed the room and wrapped his arms around me tightly. I held him carefully, protectively.
A moment later, Severus joined us. Then Arthur. And for the first time in what felt like forever... we were all together.
As we stood there — arms around each other, hearts pounding — a golden light shimmered around us, warm and radiant. The magic of a completed bond.
We'd found our circle.
We'd found him.edited- 5/7/2025
