Enrico's POV
Morning light filters softly through the curtains, warm and gentle against my skin. I blink awake, still curled up between Severus and Arthur, Lucius lying close by. The sting from last night's punishment has faded into a dull ache, but more than that, I feel safe — loved.
Severus stirs beside me, his fingers finding mine instinctively. "Morning, baby," he murmurs, voice low and tender.
"Morning," I reply, my voice still thick with sleep.
Arthur shifts, wrapping an arm around my waist. "How are you feeling?" he asks softly.
I sigh, letting myself relax fully in their embrace. "Better. I was scared last night, but you all made me feel safe. Like I'm not alone."
Lucius smiles, brushing a stray lock of hair from my forehead. "That's what mates are for. We hold each other up."
The room feels warm with quiet understanding and love. We don't rush to speak; instead, we just hold each other close, sharing the silence — healing in the presence of one another.
After a while, Severus leans down and kisses my temple. "Today, we take it slow. No stress. Just us."
I nod, feeling tears prick the corners of my eyes again — this time, from relief and gratitude. "Thank you," I whisper.
Arthur kisses my cheek gently. "We're in this together, always."
And in that moment, surrounded by my mates, I believe it. No matter what comes next, we'll face it as one.
