Warning: Kind of smutty, but nothing explicit.

You cringe as you shift around the horse, knowing how annoying it is to the elf. "(Y/N), would you sit still for 5 minutes?"

You sigh and roll your eyes, even though he could not see your face. "I'm sorry, but riding a horse is severely uncomfortable, especially when riding one hours at a time." You grit.

"You better get used to it, or you can ride with the dwarf." He says simply.

"No I cannot! I do not want to be trampled to death when he loses control of his horse!"

Legolas chuckles humourlessly. "Then stop complaining, or I'll trample you myself."

You narrow your eyes at his back. "You're so mean."

"I can feel your eyes burning against my back."

"Good." You mumble sarcastically.

Time passes and you feel your mood souring with every passing minute. You were worse than uncomfortable and sore now; you were bored. You sigh, leaning back slightly as you imagine possible antidotes for your severe boredom. Your eyes wander and scan your surroundings until they stop directly ahead of you; at Legolas. Your eyes narrow and a smirk passes across your face as a thought enters your mind.

You widen your eyes and look at Legolas innocently, the fact that he could not see you anyway was irrelevant.

"Hey, Legolas?" You say, pushing down the smile that was trying to surface.

You hear Legolas sigh before responding, amusing you further. "Yes, (Y/N)?"

"Is it true that elf ears are really sensitive?" You have to bite your lip to stop yourself from laughing by the time you stopped talking.

The elf was silent for a moment, and you think that he's just going to ignore you before he suddenly talks. "I hardly see what this information has to do with anything."

Now you were grinning as you lean towards Legolas, pressing your chest against his back slightly as you lean up to his ear. "Oh come on, Legolas..." You say, almost whispering. "Entertain me."

This close to him, you could practically feel his heartbeat increasing as he takes in your words. With an ever-so-slightly shaky breath he responds, albeit rather hesitantly. "Yes. It's true." You lean forward more, to get a look on his face. You knew he was blushing, but you wanted to see it for yourself. You wanted to see that you made the almighty, legendary warrior and archer Prince Legolas, blush. But he tilts his head to the side away from you to obscure your view of him. "So move away, firya." He practically spits the last word. (Mortal)

You sigh but move away slowly. "Be iest lín, hiril nín." (As you wish, my lord.)

However, even as those words leave your lips, your hands around his waist slowly snake around his torso. Although the movement was slight, Legolas expectedly notices. "What are you doing?" You could swear his voice was rougher than it was a moment ago. You take this as a sign that your plan was working.

You bring your mouth to his ear before responding. "Whatever do you mean?" Your hands move around his torso and begin to lower towards his legs.

You see his head lower to look at what you were doing, hopefully feeling flustered and confused as to what to react to. "You know what I mean." Legolas says, his breath hitching.

You don't respond straight away, instead, your hands reach the sides of his legs before you start to move in towards his inner thighs. As your hands travel across his inner thighs, you move them up, more slow than ever, towards his groin area. "I'm just trying to get a better grip." You say, yet again feigning innocence. "Wouldn't want to fall off this horse." You add after a moment.

You peer closer towards his face to barely see his mouth open as he plans to interject. However, whatever you expected him to say abandons your mind as a small groan escapes his mouth instead. Your eyes widen and your smirk spreads. If you had not been so close, you doubted you would have heard it.

"Is everything ok, Legolas?" You ask slowly. Just as you finish the question, you lean even closer than you had ever dared to and softly bite the bottom of his ear.

You immediately withdraw all contact, earning a hiss from Legolas. He whirls his head around to face you, his face looking red and distraught. You instantly feel guilty as you meet his eyes, however, the moment is over when Aragorn shouts out to them. "We have almost reached Edoras! Get ready!"

Legolas meets Aragorn's eyes and the latter's facial expression turns to that of concern. "Is everything alright, mellon nín?" (My friend)

Although you couldn't see him, you imagined Legolas' blush deepening even more. "Y- Yes!" Legolas calls out quickly.

You stifle a laugh. Aragorn stares at Legolas for a second before briefly looking at you, raising a brow.

You innocently shrug before Aragorn turns back around, leading the way.

With an angry sigh, you get out of bed and make for the door, frustrated by your inability to fall asleep. You exit your chambers and turn the first corner you see, not knowing at all where you were going. You slowly walk around, your long night gown trailing behind you.

You have not been able to get that interaction with Legolas out of your head. Every time you closed your eyes, you could see his face and you found yourself wondering if you had made a huge mistake. The scene unfolds in your mind like a dream, drowning you in feelings of guilt and regret. You did not want to make Legolas uncomfortable, you only wanted to slightly tarnish his pride for your own entertainment. Legolas was always so stoic and serious all the time, so you wanted to prove that he could feel other emotions. The fact that you had a small crush on Legolas did not help your situation at all. Any prior hope that existed for the two of you being together was long gone, for surely he hated you now?

You were violently torn out of your unpleasant thoughts as you feel a hand wrap around your shoulder harshly. You make to move to look at your attacker but your body suddenly halts and you're pushed against the wall, stealing the air from your lungs.

However, any fear and thought of escape vanishes as you stare at the person responsible, or rather, elf responsible.

"Legolas." You say, surprised. You're suddenly at a loss for words when you meet his eyes. He's glaring at you with such hostility that instantly makes your regret return. "I- I should-"

Your attempt at an apology was suddenly cut short as you feel warmth crash onto your lips.

You gasp in shock and Legolas pushes his mouth against yours hungrily, meeting his tongue with yours.

The regret and guilt you felt suddenly felt very distant in this moment. You grin against his mouth as you kiss him back with equal hunger, very relieved that he not only hated you, but could perhaps feel the same way you do for him.

The kiss continues but as you lean more into him, Legolas suddenly parts from you. Your face instantly reddens as a moan parts from your lips unwantedly. Legolas grins down at you evilly as you try to catch your breath.

"Now we're even." He says cockily, before kissing you again.
