He was kinda getting the hang of it. The gods, plural. Talking about monsters as if it's everyday life. Also not really.

Taehyung was a great guy. He learnt they were of the same age, 18. He learnt all demigods were dyslexic and had ADHD just like him. Demigods start attracting monsters when they reach the age of 13 to 15 and usually the age at which everyone joins the camp. Some earlier, some late.
Taehyung didn't ask for the reason to which he was just joining the camp now, which he found grateful.

He learnt there were originally 12 cabins for the 12 major gods but then they started adding more cabins for the minor gods(now 20 in total). His aunt had made sure he took Greek mythology in school so he didn't find it hard memorising all the gods.

Taehyung showed him the strawberry fields. The sword fighting arena were campers were duelling. The archery range, the armoury (which Taehyung promised to return to after he could stand straight on his both feet), the forge, the Pegasus stables, the canoe lake, the amphitheatre, the volleyball court, the arts and crafts center, the magical pine tree, the climbing wall(which is just insane. There's lava flowing down it), the mess hall and the woods.

Taehyung told him, one should only go into the woods armed or with someone else. He then promised to take him there when he is fully recovered.

The big house they just came out of was infact named the Big house. By the time they completed the whole round with him walking uncomfortably, it was already noon.

Taehyung tried to answer all his questions. But some questions like why the gods just don't help us instead of making us go on all the quest, left Taehyung pursing his lips.

"The gods have been alive for millennia. They have had a lot of children. More than maybe they could even keep a count of. I think they don't just care about what's going on." The grave serious tone of Taehyung took him by surprise. He turned to look at Taehyung who didn't meet his eyes. He didn't knew what to say so he just kept shut. "They have some kind of rule that they shouldn't involve in the lives of demigods directly. Some stick with it some don't." He shrugged.

He had then changed the subject trying to lift Taehyung's mood back. And it did work.

They were now going to the dining pavilion for lunch as he realised his ankle didn't hurt that much anymore. Taehyung told him the ambrosia was gods food and it healed demigods. If consumed by mortals they burn from inside and if consumed in large amount by demigods they felt feverish.

He sat with Taehyung at the Zeus's table. He looked around and saw many faces he recognised as those who spoke to him and Taehyung. He realised he and Taehyung were the only ones on the table. There were some other empty tables too.

"Do you sit alone? Don't you have siblings?" The moment the question left his mouth he realised it was a mistake. He rushed to mumble apologies.

"No it's fine. I am the only child of Zeus now at camp. Those are Hades' and Poseidon's table. We have son of Hades at camp but no child of Poseidon. As you know these are the Big three gods. They once came to the agreement that they will not have children with mortals because then they would be very powerful. But well time passed and they did not stay true to their words and here I am."

He bit his lips as he kept his eyes on the plate embarrassed.

"You will know all these sooner or later. So just hear it from me." Taehyung said with a comforting smile which he returned.

"Actually we were looking forward for a child of Poseidon." That brought his attention back on his words. "We just received a prophecy, which is delivered by the Oracle of Delphi of Apollo, which is now residing inside Scarlett Fray, who is actually a mortal but she can like get in the camp. So she's not a demigod but technically a camper. Am I confusing? Are you confused?" The speed at which the guy was talking was incredible. But did kinda understood what he was trying to say.
