"Taehyung." Namjoon tried to keep his voice steady.

"Child of Athena. No wisdom of yours is going to help defeat us boy" The giant Alcyoneus stepped forward, his reptilian feet shaking the ground, roaring with laughter. "And this one...my, my, I've been waiting to meet the Taehyung Kim, son of Zeus." The giant grinned. His silver teeth made his mouth look like a car grille.

"And son of Hades. I'm sorry I can't kill you right away, I wishes to keep you as a pet. I think it will be amusing when I destroy Hades to have the god's favorite son on a leash. I'll have you in my service. After that, of course, Gaea has plans for you."

"I don't do services." Jungkook raised his sword.

The ghosts stirred. Some drew swords and lifted shields. Alcyoneus raised his hand, gesturing for them to wait. The ghosts pounded their swords against their shields. The sound echoed across the mountains.

"We hoped to awaken Gaea during World War II. That would've been glorious." Alcyoneus continued. " But really, the world is in almost as bad a shape now. Soon, your civilization will be wiped out. The Doors of Death will stand open. Those who serve us will never perish. Alive or dead, you half bloods will join my army."

Jimin shook his head. "Fat chance, Golden Boy. You're going down." He didn't knew where he got the courage to speak up to a 40 feet tall ugly giant, but he hadn't regreted it. Yet.

"Jin and I will wait for you to return Taehyung. We'll keep off the ghosts" Namjoon gazed at the army of ghostly soldiers. He then looked at Jungkook, Hosoek and him and pointed a hand in the giants direction.

"We've got Golden Boy," Jungkook said. They charged at the giant.

The giant glanced at Taehyung zipping up the sky over his head, fortunately not attempting to get a hold of him. He heard sword clashing on metals behind him, Namjoon and Jin fighting the ghosts.

Hosoek shot his arrow at the giant. The giant though groaned, just plucked them out like pins. Alcyoneus bellowed in pain. "Fool!" Alcyoneus shouted. Black oil dripped from his wounds instead of blood, but the wounds were already closing. "I am immortal in my homeland, son of Apollo! My new homeland is Alaska. You cannot kill me here!" Alcyoneus swung his staff and Hosoek was not fast enough to dodge it. Hosoek yelled in pain as he tumbled over the ice, crashing into the ramparts.

He charged at the giant, who was distracted in bringing down his staff on Jungkook. He jumped as high as he could burying Riptide into it's metal skin and slashing the wound open as he landed back on his feet.

Though the wound would heal soon, at least it made the giant bellow in pain, as his staff crashed onto the armory, sending the ice structure down. The giant raised his feet, but he was smaller and faster as he ran underneath it. The giant yelled in pain again, Jungkook slashing through his other leg and to his relief the wound from the Stygian Iron sword didn't close up soon. Oil rolled down the wound onto the snow.

Jungkook yelled at him to get away from Alcyoneus and he obeyed, getting away from the proximity of the giant just as he saw Taehyung just a stroke through the sky flying straight towards the giants chest. Before Alcyoneus could do anything, the shield in Taehyung's hand collided with him, the momentum sending Alcyoneus toppling into an icy tower of the arena that collapsed on top of him.

He looked back at the army of ghosts. Yoongi melting the ice away and breaking the chain, Jin, Namjoon and Hosoek fighting a losing battle against the ghosts.

He decided Taehyung and Jungkook could take care of the giant for now, as Jungkook climbed on top of the laid down giant and brought his shield hard onto the giant's face with enough force to dent his metal face.

He raced back to the others, Yoongi on the last chain now as he swung his sword taking down the ghosts. Now he knew why they were fighting a losing battle. The ghosts didn't disintegrate or die. They kept coming back.

There was storm around him now, then he realised it was him who made the whirlwind when he saw the shocked face of Hosoek. It was a miniature hurricane of water and ice vapour churning around him as he waded through the enemy, knocking ghosts away, deflecting arrows and spears. Since when did he have that power? He thought it would tire him out but he was holding up fine for now.

He moved through the enemy lines, the enemy completely focused on him. "Jimin! They will stay dead now" he heard Yoongi yell. Checking on others he realised Yoongi was gone and so was Taehyung. Jungkook kept hitting the giant making him stay unconscious on the ground. Jin, Namjoon and Hosoek was a bit away from him fighting off the rest of the army.

He drew them away, still he knew he couldn't fight them off forever. Maintaining the storm was becoming difficult. Despite the cold, his face was already beaded with sweat.

Someone yelled his name in panic. But he didn't know who. He looked behind him to see he with his back to the edge of the cliff. His hurricane was gone. He held Riptide still raised. The entire army of shades edged forward, their weapons bristling. There was no way he could get around them. He saw Jin and Namjoon slashing through the shades, at the back trying to get to him, but they were still too far away. Hosoek was shooting off arrows but then Namjoon got hit with an arrow from the enemies sending him down. He prayed to his father to help him with what he was about to do and slammed Riptide into the ice at his feet. The entire glacier shuddered. Ghosts fell to their knees. Behind him, a wave surged up from the bay—a wall of gray water even taller than the glacier. Water shot from the chasms and crevices in the ice. As the wave hit, the back half of the camp crumbled.
