Fear Will Be Your Enemy

(A/N: I regret not putting this in the into where it talked about how they had been childhood friends and that at first when they were little he was scared of her because she had "frost giant magic" but then he got over it because she's actually pretty nice... so maybe I can add this in later in a flashback? I don't know... anyways enjoy the little Loki and little Elsa cuteness/friendship origin story?)

At first when he was introduced to Elsa, he found her... intriguing... she was the first girl he had ever met, and her little sister... she was funny.
But then later that day, Thor told him he had seen her using ice powers, which instantly terrified Loki because of the frost giant stories he had heard...
That was... until he saw them for himself.

It was about 1:30 pm, their parents were outside enjoying the gardens, Thor was playing with the other little boys he hung out with... and he was alone... with her, and her sister, in the large dining room.

He tried to ignore them, not wanting to alert them of his fears of her being a frost giant, because that would seem rude and he didn't want to upset their parents.

But then something amazing happened.

He didn't hear what started the conversation, but Anna started jumping up and down squealing with glee, and Elsa closed her eyes, and formed an orb of blue light between her hands. It fascinated him, reminding him of the magic his mother had been teaching him, she must be very adept at magic for such a young age at least, and he watched as the floor turned slick with ice,

"YES!!!!" Anna squeaked, sliding along the wide open floor like an ice skating rink.

Loki let out a quiet gasp of awe.
Elsa heard it, and looked towards him, and smiled excitedly,
"Come on! It's really fun!!!"
Loki hesitated.
"Y-you... want to be friends... w-with me?"
Elsa giggled,
"Of course! You're so sweet! Come play with us!!!" And that was the day they became friends.
But then came the accident.

One day when the girls were visiting for the holiday season, the girls were in a room across the hall from him and Thor's shared room.
Loki was awoken by the giggling of Anna as she crept out of her bed to wake up Elsa, he got up and crept to the doorway of their room, rubbing his eyes, still half asleep.
"Elsa! Pssst! ELSA!!!" No response, then she started bouncing on her bed, and he giggled,
"Wake up wake up WAKE UP!!!!" She whined,
Elsa groaned,
"Annnnaaaa... go back to sleeeep!!!"she mumbled into her pillow.
Anna groaned, throwing herself on top of Elsa over-dramatically.
"I just CAN'T!!!! The SKY'S awake so I'M awake!!! So we have to PLAY!!!!!" She whined, Elsa groaned again, flinging her off her back onto the floor next to the bed,
"Go play by yourself!!!" She hissed.
There was silence for a long moment, but Loki knew Anna wouldn't give up that easily, so he waited.
And sure enough she crept back up onto the bed beside her, to where she was right in Elsa's ear, and said,
"Do ya wanna build a snowwwwmaaaan???" With a cheeky smile, Elsa cracked open one eye and smiled.
Then she sat up and they both saw him, and started giggling,
"Come on! Let's go!!!" Anna squealed, dragging Elsa out the door, Elsa grabbed Loki's wrist and pulled him along with them.

They were laughing and shushing each other as they ran downstairs to the empty ballroom.
"Come on come on!!!" Anna cheered,
Elsa shushed her again, and they threw the doors open, and the girls squealed with glee running around chasing each other in circles around the room, Loki laughed,
"Do the magic! Do the magic!!!" Anna squealed with glee.
Then Elsa gathered the two of them in the center of the room.
"You ready?" She whispered, Anna nodded excitedly.
Then she formed the magical blue orb again. But it shot up to the ceiling making snow fall.
"Ooooh!!!" Loki and Anna gasped,
"THIS IS AMAZING!!!!" Anna squealed.
"Incredible..." Loki gasped,
Elsa smirked,
"You think that's incredible watch this!"
And immediately she made an ice rink from the floor again,
And they chased each other for a little while,
Elsa made a little snowman for Anna, and made him wave a little twig arm at her,
"Hi I'm Olaf! And I like warm hugs!"
Anna squealed and ran up and hugged the tiny snowman,
"Oh I love you Olaf!!!"
But then they started getting more reckless.

Anna started climbing up the piles of snow, leaping to the next, and soon she was going too fast and Elsa knew she was going to fall sooner or later so she kept making more piles, hoping to catch her, but then Anna thought it was a game.
"Catch me!"
"Wait! Anna slow down!!!"
"Anna! You're gonna fall slow down!!!" Loki pleaded, but she just giggled as she took a step, and she slipped and was falling.
"ANNA!!!!" Elsa cried trying to build another pile for her to fall into, but accidentally hit her in the head,
She fell limply to the floor,
"ANNA!!!!" Elsa cried, rushing to her sister, a streak of her little sister's hair turning white, she looked at Loki with pleading eyes ,
"Go get mama and papa!!! Hurry!!!" She pleaded, the young prince was worried sick, but turned and ran down the hallway.
"Mama! Papa!!!" She sobbed,
And he heard their footsteps rushing down the hall,
"Where is she?" Her father said, Loki couldn't speak, he just pointed,

He never saw her again after that night.
