"Ugh...the hell was that? Whatever, I gotta get ready and make sure Genya safe. Then maybe kidnap another child..we'll see." M/n said, getting up from the floor going to one of the many rooms within the fortress.
The room he entered had pillars around that seemed to be made out of stone, Kokushibo was sitting in the center. The second Upper Moon three waltzed over to him and sat down next to the older demon.
Kokushibo opened his six eyes to see who was beside him, when he saw who it was he was...relieved? That was rare for him, since he was tense all the time. "Hey.." He said out quietly, which took M/n off guard.
"Hey." He said back. "So..about the other day.."
"It was me." Kokushibo cut him off before he could finish. "I'm sorry what?" M/n could only look at him dumbfounded.
Kokushibo let out a frustrated sigh, and just did same gesture again. "I- Are you serious about it..." M/n trailed off.
"Of course I am...what made you think....the other way..?" His low voice got the best of him as his body relaxed into the smaller form in his arms. "I- I just thought that you never took my remarks and flirting seriously, even though my.." He cut himself off again.
"Your what?" M/n gulped down nervously before admitting it. "My feelings..for you..." If demons could have temperature then his face will be burning right now.
"Oh. That." M/n didn't know if that was supposed to be an insult or an kind gesture through words. Kokushibo chuckled softly, which was so rare that it caught M/n off guard and made him flinch and jump slightly being the other demon's arms.
"Well you did make your impression on that since...the first couple years...and still continues to this day. Am I wrong?" M/n was left speechless, he didn't the older demon would take any of that seriously. "Well. Your definitely are not wrong." The cheerfulness was back into his voice.
They stayed in each other's arms for a while, seeing that they just confessed to each other. It was only fair they get to be with one another for a while before the storm sets in.
They soon heard loud noises around the fortress, M/n lifted himself up to hear the sounds better. "I should make sure Genya is safe." Kokushibo nodded.
Before he could jump away, the other grabbed him backwards. Planting a kiss to his forehead. "Be safe love."
M/n could only smile at the gesture.
"Of course my moon."
