JJ WAS ACTING AS IF SHE DIDN'T EXIST, and it annoyed the hell out of Nicola. Sure, it was a bit immature of her to feel a bit disappointed at the fact that Pope, John B, and Kie had complimented her looks all night (and that was just half of it, she'd look ten times better if she hadn't thrown up) but JJ? Nothing. Not a single "you look nice, Cola." or so even a look of approval— nothing.

Back at the fire, he had been looking at her but now that they were all crammed up in the Twinkie, he couldn't even glance at her.

But the one thing that Cola couldn't understand was why she was even annoyed at her not getting any attention. It was immature. Childish, really, and it was just JJ. So what if he was refusing to acknowledge her? And most of all, why was she sulking with Pope right beside her when they were on their way to get 400 million dollars?

Stopping right in front of Kildare's Hawk Nest, Cola remembers how she used to go to the park all the time as a kid with her mother. It looked almost unrecognizable at night, but it was the spot where John B and Sarah agreed to meet.

As John B turned off the ignition, everyone in the backseat were about to walk out of the car and leave, and as Pope yanked the door open, John B quickly turned around to face his friends.

"Yo, uh... so, uh, I think I'm gonna do this one by myself... tonight." John B stuttered, looking at everyone, before sending Kie a particular look that Cola couldn't read, before leaning back on his chair.

"You guys gonna bone?"

Cola could hear her Pope laugh from beside her. The girl knew why Kie wasn't laughing— that was self explanatory, but why wasn't JJ laughing? It was a pretty good joke.

"What?" John B turned bright red, rapidly shaking his head as he began to explain himself. "I don't want to spook Sarah with the peanut gallery."

"I just don't understand why we're involving her at all." Kie mumbled in annoyance, frowning as she looked at John B.

"Kie, we're not involving her, okay?" John B stressed, thinking that he'd already convinced her back at the fire. "It's... it's just, uh, like a... a business meeting... thing."

Pope suddenly stifled a laugh once more, causing Cola to turn around to see what he was doing— watching JJ. Quickly glancing to see what JJ was doing, Cola couldn't help but smile a bit while he was pretending to give his shark-tooth necklace a blowjob.

"—Look, once we get what we need, we cut her loose, all right? Plus, we need the map."

"Promise me nothing's happening between you." Kie demanded with a glare.

"Nothing is happening, Kie."

"I'm being serious. This isn't about you, and this isn't about us. This is about her. Dude, she's gonna get inside your head. Just promise me nothing's happening between you guys."

John B huffed. "I promise."

"You promise?" Cola snickered, suddenly feeling the strong urge to drink water. "Do you?"

"That was really believable."

Cola turns towards JJ, who had responded to her statement. So she was here, after all.

"Anyways, um..." John B looks between the blonde boy and Cola, watching how the girl glared at him when JJ wasn't looking. "I'm gonna take care of business."

"You're gonna take care of it." Pope repeated in a dead tone. "We'll just sit here... in the hot-ass car. While it's lightning."

It seemed that John B didn't care, because he was leaving the four of them to go meet Sarah.
