Chapter 23

Tommy's POV
My dad let me into the hug, "happy birthday kiddo" he said to me. I looked up at him and smiled.

"Thanks dad"

"Alright enough with the chit chat let's go watch Tommy open his presents!" My papa said. Me and dad both agreed and we all sat down in the couch, George on the end with Jasper in his arms, Dream sitting next to him with his arm wrapped around him, and then me on the floor next to my presents. I took the fist one, it was a small box, I teared the red wrapping paper off of the present revealing airpods.

I looked at my parents shocked, I tool another present that was also like a small box, I did the same, I teared off the paper and I saw that I had a red iphone 12 pro max. I was shocked. I opened a present that was a medium sized box, I opened it to find an apple watch and a red airpods case. There were still a few presents left, I opened two and one was an adidas hoodie and one was a guess hoodie, then there was another box so I opened it and inside were a pair of Luke trainers.

I looked at all my presents then looked at my parents, "Thank you!!" I yelled as I hugged them both, they smiled and laughed.

"Anything for you kiddo!" Dad said. George nodded his head and smiled. Jasper was giggling which made me smile. "Alright let's go have breakfast!" Papa suggested.

"Oh I've already eaten.." Dad replied, "ok well we'll go get some breakfast I guess" I said, I went into the kitchen and got two bowls of cereal for me and Papa. Dad sat on the couch and turned on the TV holding a smiling Jasper.

George's POV
Dream had taken Jasper off of me so I could eat. He went into the living room and sat on the couch watching whatever he could find in the TV which was most likely something to do with killers.

I heard Jasper laughing, I looked into the living room to see Dream tickling Jasper gently. "He's a good dad..." Tommy said from besides news. I smiled and wrapped my arms around him trapping him in a hug.

"He wants the best for you both" I replied, Tommy looked up at me and smiled, he hugged me back tightly. I smiled and kissed his head.

I saw Dream yawn, he looked extremely tired. The doctor did say he would be tired. Me and Tommy let go of each other and went into the others.

"Dream you should go take a nap" I said, he shook his head as he yawned again.

"I don't need to" he replied. I sighed.

"The doctor said you was going to be tired and when you get tired you need to rest so go to bed please" I practically begged.

"Why did you go to the doctors?" Tommy asked curiously.

"It's nothing" Dream answered.

"It's not nothing! You got into a car crash yesterday and the rules were you have to rest but you refused no go and rest!" I said annoyed that he wasn't listening but also worried.

"You got into a car crash?" Tommy asked concerningly.

"Yes I got into a car crash but I'm fine, it's just a small cut on my head that's all" Dream explained.

"For god's sake Dream please just go rest..." I told him. He sighed, "Fine"

He turned around and went off to bed, his ears were down. I didn't want him to go to bed either but rules are rules and if that's what the doctor said then he needs to listen.

Dream's POV

George had managed to persuade me to go to bed so I did. Luckily for me, that meant I could skip lunch, but unfortunatley I wont be able to skip dinner since we are going out to Pizza Hut for Tommy's birthday.

Whatever... I'll just throw it up when we get back I thought.

I went to the closet and got one of George's hoodies and some joggers. I quickly got changed leaving my jeans and lime hoodie on the floor. I climbed onto the bed and curled up into a ball as I pulled the blanket over my body up to my chin. It took me at least 20 minutes to finally be able to sleep.

A few hours later I had started to wake up, the door slowly opened and I heard small footsteps that belonged to George not long after I felt the bed dip where someone was laying, I turned over to face the body and wrapped my tail and arms around it, "Hi Georgie" I said quietly still half asleep.

"Hey Dream, go back to sleep" He said softly as he played with my hair. He brushed his hands through my hair for ages, I eventually gave up on sleep since I couldnt get back to sleep so I just lay next to my boyfriend listening to his breathing and steady heartbeat. I smiled and gently kissed his cheek. He was scrolling through tiktok on his phone. He paused the video and looked at me. I instantly attached my lips to his. It took him a moment to realise what was going on and eventually kissed back. My tail started wagging wich then started hitting George lightly, he giggled against my lips and we both pulled away.

"I love you" He told me still smiling cutely.

"I love you too cupcake" I replied giving him another quick kiss on the lips.

We lay there for the rest of the afternoon only getting up to go to the toilets and to check on the kids. I had slept about 5 times that afternoon and I was still tired. I just wanted to sleep.

Is this how George felt when he was pregnant with Jasper? I thought.

"George?"

He hummed a 'yes'

"Is this how tired you felt when you was pregnant with Jasper?"

He let out a small giggle.

"Yes. Yes it is Dream"
