Chapter 2

Khushi
The next day i woke up around 6 in the morning got freshened up and got my workout clothes on and went out for a jog

After about 20 mins i was starting to go back home. I started walking while thinking about what gifts to take for everyone...

"KHUSHIII!!" I heard someone call me i turned around to see who called me but i dint find anyone so I thought i was just assuming it.

I started walking again while checking mails in my phone suddenly I bumped into something more like someone .

"Omgg! Im so sorry" i said moving back. I looked up to see who it was.

"HOLY CRAP" said consey(my subconscious mind whom i talk with)

"Yes holy crap consey! He's damn hot he looks like a model"i said

"You idiot that's Ayush Khurana! He's the CEO of THE KHURANA industries. He's the sweetheart people keep talking about"said consey

"Oh my god I'm doomed"I thought to myself. I came out of my thoughts when he said something

"Oh no it's okay it was my mistake I should've seen where I'm going" he said smiling.

"OMG he's voice is sooo sweeet"said consey

"Shut up Consey"

"Oh no no its ok even i should have seen where i was going so it was my mistake too" i told him

"It's ok no worries. Oh btw I'm Ayush Khurana" he said extending his hand to me

"I'm Khushi Singhania" i said shaking his hand. He was about to tell something but stopped as i got a call . It was Aditi.

"What a way to ruin a moment adi"said consey rolling her eyes. I ignored her

"Uhh,I should probably get going. It was nice to meet you" i told him and started going back before he could day something

"Wait why the hell did you run away like that?"asked consey. Yeah why did I ,I thought to myself but shrugged my thoughts off as I reached home. I went straight to the kitchen drinking water and saw Adi making my favorite breakfast. Well that's something new because she never cooks, the cooking job is mine while cleaning is her's

"Is everything ok?"i asked her
"Yeah everything is ok, oh btw i booked the tickets our flight is at 5 am tomo"she said serving breakfast in two plates
"Oh okay, I have to go out today i told u yesterday so I'll probably be late so please pack my bags too i almost packed everything but just cross check" i told her making cute please face
"Ok ok no need to act all cute, oh and i needed a few things so can u bring them?"she asked
"Okay just text me what you need" i told her drooling at the food

"Will you stop drooling and eat"she said rolling her eyes at me.
"Will you stop drooling and eat" i mimicked in her voice and laughed
"Fine"she said and took the plate away from me
"Heyy!! Give my food back"i said growling. I ran after her and finally got my food back.
"Heyy!! Give my food back" she mimicked and started laughing her ass off and I joined her

After breakfast I got dressed up in my torn light blue jeans and white crop tshirt and tied my hair up

I took my flip flops and the package and went out of my room told Adi that I'm leaving and started driving to Khurana's mansion . It was just 30 mins drive from my place

I reached there after 45 mins nyc traffic is really great (note the sarcasm). I took the things and got out of my car.

WOW! Was the only thing I could say after seeing the mansion

I went near the door and rang the doorbell . Someone opened the door I assume it was the maid she smiled at me asked me to come in I mumbled a thank you smiling at her as well.

The interiors of the mansion were really amazing . I was busy checking out the mansion when Swarna aunty came and stood beside me. I noticed her when she cleared her throat.

"Wth are u doing Khushi?" Asked consey
"Well I'm sorry not sorry I can't help it they're home is really awesome"i told her

"Hi Swarna aunty" i said pretty embarrassingly as she caught me ogling at the mansion

"Hi beta,come sit down" she said chuckling . I nodded and sat on the couch she sat beside me.
"You have a really beautiful home aunty" i told her
"Thank you Khushi, and i must say you are more beautiful than Keerti told me"she said looking at me with adoring eyes (keerti is mami's name)
"Thank you, ahh here's the package mami sent"i said giving the package to her
"Oh thank you so much i was waiting for this package since a long time"she said and I giggled
She was about to say something but was cutoff by a man coming downstairs telling
"Swarna meri tie"- ( my tie)he stopped when he saw me
"Namaste uncle"i said joining my hands together
"Namaste beta"he said looking at me adoringly
"You are Omkar's daughter arnt you!?"He asked me
"Yes uncle"k replied
"Oh my gosh Swarna kitni badi hogayi hai yeh (she's grown up so much), i guess your confused how I know u let me tell you , your dad and I were really close friends and we used to meet him you amd your mom every time we came India"he told excitedly
"Oh is that so I'm sorry I couldn't recognize you"i told him looking down feeling embarrassed
"Its ok beta no biggie, swarna get her something to eat she came after a long time we'll have a lot to catch up"he told aunty
"You can catch up later first lets have lunch go call your son to eat"she told to uncle

"They have a son consey?"i asked her
"I dont know"she said

"Umm aunty I guess I'll have lunch another time ill get goi" she stopped me by putting her finger on my lip and said "no you are not going anywhere you will have lunch with us" she said glaring at me playfully. I giggled and said ok

I went in the dining room with aunty while uncle went to call their son
