Luca and Alberto: On the Run

the beach party.

LUCA:

Finally after waiting for forever I feel my phone ding.

The text from alberto says,

"Sorry luca, but studying for tonight is off. I have to go to this beach party. Wanna tag along?"

I scoff. Beach party? Parties aren't me and alberto's thing. Whats going on?

I go to Instagram on my phone and check people storys to confirm my suspicion. Its Luke's party.

They were sharing the post about the party like crazy.

I text alberto back.

"Count me in alberto, see you there♡"

Then I put my phone down and hop into my red swimming trunks.

"Where you headed to?" Cameron says leaning on the doorway.

"Luke's pool party.", I say slipping shoes on. "Wanna tag along?"

He smiles. "I'd love too."

Even before I got to the party I could hear the blasting music.

"Woah this partys huge!", Cameron says from beside me as we get closer to the beach.

Suddenly my eyes are yanked to the sight of alberto....

...and he's sitting by luke.

"Luca.....luca?", Cameron says turning my chin to face him. "Whats wrong?"

I smile. Feeling somewhat better.

"Nothing, let's get a drink", I say walking over to a cooler.

Cameron grabs a drink. And not even seconds later he grabs a friend and he's walking off.

Leaving me at the drink table alone.

I suddenly feel warm hands slide around my waist.

"Hey babe", alberto says.

"Al! Where have you been?", I say turning to face him.

"Im so sorry luca, I've just been busy with school.", he says.

I tuck a peice of his curly hair behind his ear. Before pulling him into a passionate kiss.

Its been a while since I've kissed him.

Our passionate kiss was broken by, none other than Luke's voice.

"Hey! You two down to go swimming with our group?"

"N-no...we'll just si-"

"Hell yeah! Count me in!", alberto says. "Ill be back soon luca. I love you!"

He then runs off leaving me standing alone.

"BOO!", Giulia says from behind me.

"Ah....Giuliaa!", I say.

"Wanna go for a swim?", she asks.

I nod.  Because I didn't have anything else to do.

ALBERTO:

I jump into the water with Luke and a group of people who I didnt 100% know who they were.

While swimming in the water I felt motioning beneath my feet.

It was dark. I couldn't see. I just brushed it off as a fish and kept swimming.

"Hey what do you think about this party?", luke asks me.

"Its pretty good!", I say. "But I gotta pee."

He laughs, "if you really don't wanna pee in the water, then just go behind that huge rock", he points to a big rock just on the shore.

I nod. "Thanks luke."

I get out of the water and go behind the rock.

"Ahh, there we go.", I say finishing up my business.

Suddenly there's a sharp pain in my leg.

"AA-", my scream gets cut off by a hand over my mouth. Then whatever the thing was cut in my side. They then started scratching my legs and arms.

I was able to let out a scream.

They immediately let go and disappeared.

LUCA:

As me, Giulia, and a few other friends swim, I hear a blood curdling scream coming from down the shore.

"What the hell was that?", Giulia says

I knew that scream.

I get out of the water and run towards where I heard the scream.

As I got closer to this huge rock, the more people I saw.

Once I got there I pushed through people only to find Alberto laying on the sand. There were blood spots everywhere.

"Alberto!!", luke says dropping to his knees beside him.

I freeze. That should be me.

I suddenly run and go to albertos side aswell.

"Someone call an ambulance!", someone says.

Multiple people pull out there phones.

"Alberto, alberto!", I say shaking him.

"Wake up!", luke chimes in.

Alberto opens his eyes slowly and winces his eyes in pain.

"What happened?!?", I ask.

"something...",

"Ah fuck, my stomach.", he says.
"Something fucking attacked me."

"Attacked? What do you mean?", I say.

"I dont... k-...k-know!!!", he says...

...the rest of that night was a blur. I just remember getting into the back of that ambulance with alberto.
