~ CHAPTER TWENTY ~

L . A

So it's 11;35pm and everyone is asleep. The whole house is except for me and possibly the guards outside and around the house so not everyone.

I look at the girl with her legs tangled with mine under the duvet and she's fast asleep. I gently move the hair out of her face and she shuffled around slightly.

I have a really bad headache and I also feel light-headed. I just feel like shit right now I don't know what I'm supposed to do.

I carefully untangle myself from her before leaving the bed. I quietly leave my room and shut the door behind me and then head downstairs.

"What are you doing down here ma'am at this time?" A guard asked.

"Just hungry," I reply and he walked me to the fridge since it is almost pitch black right now.

I pick out some food and a drink before drinking the water slowly. It gets rid of some of the pain in my head but I know I'm going to need some painkillers.

Once I've collected the things I may need, I head back upstairs with the guard. Once I reach my room I thank him and quietly enter. I look at the girl sleeping peacefully in my bed and smile.

I go to my bathroom and run the water and put the tablet in my mouth before the water. I then put the food on the drawers and groan.

"A-are you okay?" I heard her mumble and I turn to see her looking at me she is half asleep.

"Did I wake you up?" I ask and she shakes her head.

"Answer the question." She told me and I sigh.

"I got food and I have a headache that's all," I answer and she hummed.

"Come here," She smiled and I climb into bed and she turned over and her arms wrap around me, "Get some sleep.

She kissed me gently before laying on my chest and I close my eyes. And fell asleep.

It's 8:45 in my morning and I have just woke up.

"Get back to sleep I'm not awake yet." Amery groans and I chuckle and look at her.

"Your clearly awake are you wouldn't be looking at me and talking." I point out and she rolled her eyes thinking I wouldn't see by the darkness in the room.

"Shut it." She laughs and I smile.

I climb out of bed and take a bite out of some strawberries and look at Amery who is now awake. Her hair is messy like normal when she wakes up, she has a smile on her face, her cheeks are darker than usual showing that she is most likely blushing, and she has her hoodie rolled up slightly showing her stomach.

I go back to the bed and sit down.

"How's your head?" She asks and I go beside her

"It's feeling better," I answer and she smiled and ran her fingers through my hair and smiled.

"That's good." She whispered before yawning and I look at her in awe.

The thing with Amery is that she's all bossy, gets jealous very easily and controlling in a good way during the day. But then in the mornings and nights, she's very soft. But that's what I love about her how her mood can change very quickly.

"What's on the news?" She asked as she got the remote and turned the volume down and the brightness filled the room and I let out a groan and she chuckled.

"Good weather, hmm that's boring. And that's not very interesting. Okay, it's a good day." She spoke as different things came on the television and I laugh at her.

"So you are telling me that people died on that mission last night?!" Sofia's voice shouts and Amery quickly got up and went to the door and looked out.

"Only some did, it was a 50-50 chance Sofia." Alexander's voice spoke and Amery looked at me.

"What happened?" She asked and stepped out where I heard footsteps walking over to her and I groan and turn the television channel over to Twilight because it was the only thing I would watch right now.

"People attacked the lot who went out on the mission last night, unfortunately, some didn't make it but 8 out of the 12 returned safely." Her father explained and she sighed.

"Did Issac?" Sofia asked and worry is filling her voice.

"He came back but with injuries, he's getting helped with the others in the hospital room right now," Alexander answered and I heard Sofia hum. Oh shit.

"Amery can we have a chat?!" Ashton yells from downstairs and she ignored him and went back into the room.

"Fucking shit that is." She grunted and I sigh and opened my arms where she came in and I held her.

"At least I have you." She smiled and I hum and ran my fingers through her hair.

We both sit in bed like this, our legs tangled and our bodies pressed together under the covers for an hour and she just looks at me randomly and smiled.

Suddenly there was a knock on the door and I groaned.

"Who is it?" I shout because I'm not moving away from her.

"It's Sofia." Her voice called out and I hum and she walked in and Amery looked at her.

"Fucking hell that is cute." She smiled and I smile and Amery went back to watching tv, "okay I came here to say that we all have a mission we are all going to a like mansion where some guys are messing around in and I'm pretty sure there are dead bodies"

"It's at 1 pm too." She reminds and I nod.

"Go check on Issac I give you permission." I smile and her face lit up and she smiled at me and nods then quickly leaves the room and shuts the door behind me.

Before I could speak lips were on mine. She climbed over my body so she trapped me between her as she slowly grinds against my thighs and she let out moans as she did. I feel her pull away and she held my hands above my head and I look at her.

"Are you sure?" I ask her and she shrugged.

"Just a little play?" She asked back and I hum with a smirk before I feel the wetness coming from her.

Our lips connected again as the tv volume went up.
