~ CHAPTER THIRTY-SEVEN ~

It's been twenty minutes and Lilith is on the sofa in my hoodie talking to Sofia and I'm sat on the stairs with Josh.

"You got a girlfriend yet?"I laugh and he chuckled and looked at me.

"No because nobody thinks I'm too hot to be theirs."He sighed and I gasp.

"What?! Your flipping handsome and hot as fuck how is nobody dating you!"I yell and I felt Lilith's eyes on me and I look back.

"Your sexy."I mouth and her sheets turned red and she turned away with a smile. She's still pissed off about Hannah.

"Yeah I know that but what does a guy have to do to get a girl to fall in love? Give tips with how you knew and fell for Lilith."He says and I look at him.

"Firstly just be yourself, never change who you are just for someone. And I knew I fell for her when I felt safe around her and we became closer till I ended up falling head over heels. And when I was thinking about her a lot more often and that I liked it more to be around her than anyone else. And then she randomly kissed me and that's when I felt it and knew for sure."I answer and he smiled and I felt heat rise to my cheeks.

"Yes only her knows that she don't make a scene"I laugh.

"Aww Amery is in love she just told me how she knew she fell in love! Aww it's so cute!"He shouts.

"Josh shut up!"Sofia shouts and I lock eyes with Lilith and her cheeks instantly grew red.

It's difficult to move away from her stare, it's like she has done something to me making me freeze. Her she's, they can easily make someone weak. Her lips, plump enough to pin her against the wall and bite them hard or just begging to be kissed. Her body, covered in my marks and bruises from some missions and fine is hell.

She bit her lip as her face was now red as a tomato and I drag my eyes away from her and she turned back around.

"That was a good two minutes."Sofia chuckled.

"Shut up I got fucking nervous"Lilith whispered and I smile and look at Josh.

"Want me to help?"I ask and he instantly nods and I chuckle and take his wrist before walking up the stairs and to the top where I put my hand on the railing.

"Alright everyone!"I shout and people looked and Lilith turned and watched me with Sofia.

Soon enough everyone was looking.

"Okay, so would anyone here be interested in Josh?"I ask as I gesture to the boy who was embarrassed right now but it was funny.

"Okay if you confess I'll tell you a secret."I sigh and a few girls put their hands up and Josh smiled.

"You four step to the side and have a chat with him get to know him."I answer and Josh thanked me and went down to the four girls.

"Now for the secret!"A person shouts and I look at Lilith who put her hands over her face and I smile and look away.

"Can you talk about Lilith? And how your both doing?!"Someone shouts and I groan.

"I don't know how we are doing to be honest."I admit and she looked at me and I avoid her eyes.

"Because honestly I don't know how we both feel. I messed up about something and I know I did but I can see she's not handling it well and it's breaking my heart to see her hold it to herself."I mumble and everyone was silent.

"So I guess it's nothing that much that's changed. Like my love for her has changed by going harder and harder whenever she's around."I smile and she has tears in her eyes.

I can't talk about this now.

"But it's fucking shit how I always get everything wrong. Even a god damn relationship."I groan and leave into the bedroom and I saw Lilith head to the stairs and I slam the door shut behind me.

I get into the bed and pull the duvet up to my chest, my heart hurts. My whole body does. I always act so strong and tough around her but on the inside I'm soft and can be rude at times but I just want her to be safe. I want her to feel loved and to be happy. That's all I care about.

The door opened and she let out a sigh.

"You don't mess things up only the fucking bed idiot."She groans and I ignore her and I feel her sit on the bed.

"Amery stop it. Your texting my ex who hurt me. She smashed glass and cut me I have scars off her and it's breaking me hour by hour knowing your friends with her and you can easily get her to come over. Your then saying you can't do anything right and you can. You never fail to make me smile or feel happy because when I'm around you I feel like I'm home. I love you so much but I just can't stand it how your breaking inside."She sighed and she was now crying.

I still don't talk, I look at the girl with tears in my eyes and she staring at the floor.

"How bad was the cuts?"I mumble and she sighed and pulled off her hoodie and she points to a huge scar on her chest.

I've seen that from time to time and then she shows me the line going down her back from her shoulder to hip and a tear fell down my cheek and then the phone started ringing but I ignore it.

"I'm so sorry"Was all I could let myself say and she looked at me and looked away.

"She hurt me, physically and mentally. She went off and cheated on me every night and I still stayed believing all the lies that came out of her mouth. It's ridiculous how stupid I can be. And then she would get annoyed easily and break things or just use to let her anger out"She admitted my my heart stung.

"It hurt, it hurt so fucking bad"She broke down into tears and I quickly go over to her and pull her hoodie onto her body and then held her tightly.

"I can't let you be friends with her. What if she does the same to you? Your not going through that pain, I can't let you"She mumbled and I hum.

"She won't I promise. I'll stop being friends with her for you. Get rest baby."I whisper and she rests her head on my chest and I ran my fingers gently through her hair.

"I need a bath."She groans and I watch her walk over to the bathroom and I lay in bed and put the tv on. It's only 1:45pm.

Then there was a knock at the door and I went to open it and a maid was there.

"Sorry to disturb but someone is at the door for you"She smiled and I nod and turn to Lilith.

"Babe I'll be back soon!"I call out and she hummed as she was doing the bath.

I walk out of the bedroom and took a deep breath. I could get murdered.
