hours later, we got back to school. it was early in the morning, around 6am. that's enough time for us all to go to class.

funny enough, we technically didn't miss any school be cause we left friday night and it's monday. hopefully, nobody suspects anything.

i got my bags from the trunk and made my way up to my dorm.

when i opened my door, i saw lex sleeping in my bed.

"LEX!"
i yelled which caused him to jump up and scream a little.

"what are you doing in here?!"
i said as i closed my door hoping nobody saw he was in here.

"i uh, stumbled into the wrong room-?"
he said clearly lying.

i titled my head a little bit knowing he was lying.

"c'mon lex."
i said pushing him to tell the truth.

"fine. i missed you, you went to vegas without me."
he said with a little pout.

"awww lex, you wouldn't have the stomach to come with me."
i said as i pulled him into a tight hug.

"hey! i have the stomach for it!"
he said squirming around and not hugging back.

i laughed and rolled my eyes.

"i gotta get ready for class but sit with me at lunch."
lex said as he picked up some of his things from the floor.

"wait, how long have you been sleeping here?"
i said confused.

"uh, i've been doing more than sleeping."
he said with a wink and a smirk.

"ugh, gross."
i said as i pushed him out of my dorm.

"i heard you were doing it too."
he said as i closed the door.

wait a second...

i opened the door with a confused look on my face.

"what-?"
i asked.

"i heard you and marcus got into it. not for the first time i hope?"
he said.

"i was high-."
i said.

"mhm."
he said sarcastically as he walked off.

i rolled my eyes again and closed the door.

i showered and got ready for class. for some reason i didn't feel ready but i didn't mind it.

when i walked in, i sat down next to willie who had been falling asleep.

"get up before lin walks in."
i said as i shook him a little bit.

he groaned and sat up.

then i felt someone hit my elbow and heard them trip.

i turned around and saw marcus grabbing his things from the ground.

"shit, sorry."
he said rambling.

"it's fine."
i said as i got down and started helping.

"acid still in your system huh?"
willie said.

"it's not acid on my mind."
marcus said as we both stood up. he then looked at me with a smirk.

my eyes widened and i blushed a bit and gave marcus his things back.

"thanks."
he said looking me straight in the eyes.

i felt like i was gonna pass out right then and there.

i probably would've if lin didn't walk in causing everyone to rush back to their seats.

me and marcus just stood there though. it was almost like i was frozen just looking into his eyes.

"mr lopez? ms y/l/n?"
lin said from the front of the room.

"present."
marcus said still looking at me.

"present."
i said smiling back.
