Truth or love?

Steady Y/N steady.

I've to keep my mind clear. One wrong move and he will get suspicious. Once again he knocked. "Y\N are you at home?" I gulped hard to clear the knot forming in my throat and then keeping my hands as steady as possible, I opened the door.

"I'm extremely sorry. I didn't hear you knock, hehe", I said trying hard to act normal.

"No it's ok.  Did you bring the crossword puzzles?"

"Y-yeah I did. Here."

He sat down and sighed. "You look stressed. Is everything alright? I asked.

"Yeah. The meeting didn't go that well actually, he said.

Obviously it didn't.

"Oh I see".

"Would you like some coffee?", I asked, trying to change the subject.

"Yeah sure."

"When I returned with the coffee, he had already started solving a crossword puzzle. He was solving the puzzle while discussing it with me but I tried to talk as less as possible to hide my nervousness. But he noticed that and asked, "What happened to you today? Are you not feeling well?"

"H-huh? N-no. I-I'm fine". I mentally slapped myself for stuttering.  "Let's continue", I said and bent over the puzzle to avoid eye contact with him. But as fate would have it, the very next word on the to-solve-list was 'DRUG'.  I had solved it much before he did but just couldn't write it down.  The scenes of what I saw in the morning flashed before my eyes. 

"Oh this word is 'DRUG'. It's taking such a long time for you to solve it Y\N?", he remarked, bringing me back to reality.

"H-huh? It was....ahh...kinda difficult".

"Are you by any chance sick?"

"Sick? Me? W-why no! I'm perfectly fine. J-just my head's hurtin' a bit. I'mma just get a drink of water".

I said and rushed to the kitchen. I want over to the sink and splashed some water over my face. I've to stay calm at any cost. But trying to act normal in front of a cold-blooded murderer was too much for me. Just then, I felt a cold hand on my shoulder. I jumped and turned around. Taehyung was standing just behind me. The friendly spark in his eyes were no longer visible. What was visible was a pair of dark, cold eyes staring right into my soul.

"Are you sure you are ok?", his deep cold voice sent a shiver down my spine. I nodded and tried to back off a bit but since I had been standing near the wall, my back touched it, leaving no space for me to move. But Taehyung came still forward, pinning me to the wall. This was too much for me.  I shut my eyes, anticipating a bullet to pierce through my head. But instead I heard him say, "Don't worry, I won't  hurt you".

I opened my eyes and looked up at him. "H-huh? What do y-"

"I saw you get into the taxi. I know you followed me."

DAMN. I didn't knew what to do next. Neither of us spoke. I was looking down and could see that my knees were shaking terribly.  "I-I wante-" as I looked up to speak, he smashed his lips unto mine without any warning. I was too shocked to react at first. But then when I tried to push him, he held my waist tighter and kissed me more roughly. After sometime, he pulled out, quite out of breath.

Then locking eyes with mine, he said," I won't hurt you for the same reason why you didn't report to the police. But don't go sneaking onto places where you shouldn't ok?"

 Saying that he left. As I heard the main door shut close, I slid down on the floor and clutched my hair with both hands. 

What did he just say? I didn't report to the police because, well, I love him but what's the reason that he didn't hurt me?

I can't think anymore. Everything around me seems blurred, as if they are moving very fast. Too  fast. So fast that there's bound to be a crash....
