Nandini tell me honestly are you okay are you sure it's just the headache
Alya asked and Nandini just nodded

Yes yes I am good I was up till late na so this headache
She explained more like lied but what coud she even do when she herself didn't know why was she crying

The staff came and applied some balm and took Nandini's temperature

It's 96.5 don't stress much young lady, lay down here for a while it should be ok
The doctor said

Nandini lied down and closed her eyes.
She had frowns but this time it was not the picture rather it was because of her so called family her mother Kashti Murthy

Time and again the taunts she used to to pass to Nandini was getting in her nerves

Alya you go I'll just come I'm feeling better now
Nandini said getting up from the bed

Nandini it's ok I'll wait here
Alya insisted

Nah you go I'll be there I'll just go to the washroom
Nandini told her and Alya nodded

She went to the washroom and closed the door as she started sobbing HARD

All the things were hitting her hard and she was having a major mental break down. She thought it was only Manik's picture with a girl but no it was the hell she goes through everyday which was killing her inside.

Mom why did you have to leave my and go away you don't even know how much I miss you
Nandini mumbled amidst the tears kept her hand in her mouth to control her sobs.

Holding the basin she looked at her messed face and realised she was still in college. Wiping her tears with the back of her hands Nandini sighed and opened the tap and washing her face with water she took a deep breath and came out. When she went Manik was teaching she asked for his permission and he nodded Nandini went in and sat on one of the benches

Manik continued with hai lecture but somehow never left Nandini's face. He sighed and continued teaching them

You better now
Alya whispered from behind

Hmm

Ohkay class this is it, I shall see you on Monday
Manik said and was leaving

Sir won't you teach us tomorrow
A guy asked

I'm on leave tomorrow
He smiled and left

However this time Nandini didn't think much about it. The rest of the day went quickly and then it was the time to leave

If you don't feel good just drop me a text ok I'll be there with some hot chocolate and sandwiches
Nandini chuckled and nodded and then sat in the car and Michelle started the car

You seem dull today all okay
He asked

Yes yes it's just that I've got this project which is really stressing me out
She lied and he could sense that she was hiding something but didn't press further

They reached and Nandini saw another car there on the pavement, she frowned and and went in where Kylie brought her a glass of juice and Nandini told her to sit with her

Kylie is someone home I saw another car

Mrs. Murthy is having a meeting in the library
Kylie answered her not meeting her eyes and Nandini knew what meeting she was talking about. She was disgusted by the slightest thought

She spat in a venomous tone

Kylie was standing there looking down and Nandini chuckled sarcastically and went to the terrace leaving her stuff on the couch itself

Wow dad won't see this now great
She said to herself and sat on the chair placed in the middle surrounded with plants and had a shed too along with other chairs

Nandini decided to eat something and then work on the project. She asked Kylie to make something for her and went to her room.

Kylie came with chilli cheese toast and oats and Nandini thanked her and continued writing her project. It was 10 when she went out and saw a guy nearly in his late 30s sitting on the dining table whispering something in Kashti's ear as she blushed. Nandini felt like throwing up and the feeling only increased when she saw what Kashti was wearing a corset net top with her boobs literally popping out. She knew she would not get peace if she stands there even for one more minute. She went out and again went to the peace place as she called it.

She would not come here and cry but would simply sit away from the chaos it was her happy place

Headache
She heard a deep husky voice near her ear and almost jumped

Professor
She mumbled as Manik saved her from falling down holding her waist. Thier faces were very close and heart beat fast

Easy there
He said as Nandini was sitting on the bonet of the car and when she turned she almost fell down

He made her sit carefully and stood next to her

You here ?
She questioned

Hmm I feel good here
He replied making a decen distance between the two of them

By the way you didn't answer my question
He raised his brow

I'm just not feeling good
She told him looking in his eyes and for some reason he couldn't see her like this... distressed, sad, unhappy

You can share it if you want, keeping it to yourself will only increased your pain
Nandini could not handle his piercing gaze and looked away

Her voice was overwhelmed. Her innocence was showing through her words as she adorably complained

He said and she turned and looked at him

He asked sincerely and Nandini was at loss of words
