Tears brimmed in her eyes as she took a deep breath, she opened her eyes and looked at herself in the mirror. Her eyes had turned red because of crying for so long

Nandini stop it, just stop it
She told herself

A boy named Warren had proposed Nandini and she told him she was not interested however when she tried walking out he held her hand.

He said as Nandini tried to wiggle out of his hold but he pinned her to the corridor wall. Since the classes were going on no one was there

He pressed his body against her and thiss sent Nandini into frenzy as she recalled how her step mother would harass beer when she was younger

A 13 year old Nandini cried however kashti twisted her hand and slapped her

She cried but no one came to help her and she cried herself to sleep

As she recalled this a hot stream of tears rolled down her eyes and with all the strength she had in ht boy she kicked Warren and slapped him hard.

He looked at her shocked while she ran out crying.

She ran into Manik while crying and he looked shocked

Kiddo, Nandini what happened
He asked holding her in his arms securely

Nandini's voice broke while saying this and Manik fisted his hands at the thought of someone hurting his kiddo

Looking at her he knew something is wrong and the corridor is definitely not a good place to discuss this he was in front of his cabin itself. Looking both sides he walked in and made Nandini sit on thee maroon shining leather couch.

Bringing the glass of water he pushed it to her lips and she took a sip. She was no longer crying but was not in a good state

He rubbed her back and she leaned back to his chest

He voiced softly and Nandini just murmured

Manik furrowed his brows and hummed asking her to continue

Manik's hold on Nandini's waist tighten and he dug his nails to her skin but made sure not to hurt her

I told him that I don't like him like that then he pushed me against the wall and also twisted my hands
She said innocently and Manik was enraged. He couldn't stand the thought of someone hurting his love

He said and Nandini hugged him clutching the sides of his shirt

Nandini looked at him

He asked and Nandini firmly said m

He smiled and kissed her forehead briefly before moving forwards to both her eyes. He placed kisses over there and then moved to her cheeks. Nandini was totally red by now and seeing this Manik smiled and stopped right there

When Nandini realised he was done she looked up but again looked down seeing his intense eyes

Manik can I hug you ?
She asked naively and Manik chuckled pointing his eyes towards her hands which were holding his shirt tightly

You already are
He said and she hid her face in his chest making him laugh

Nandini do you want to go home
He asked but Nandini didn't say anything just kept looking at him.

He understood she wanted to go somewhere else and sighed

Ohk I have a plan let's go eat at a restaurant what's say
He said and Nandini pursed her lips and nodded smiling

Let me inform my friends first
She said and took out her phone

Soon enough they were sitting in his car where Nandini relaxed in the passenger's seat and Manik kept on stealing glances of his lady love

They went to a small restaurant named QAIS it was secluded yet very cozy

He said looking at the manager and he guided them to a table

Enjoy your lunch date Mr and Mrs Malhotra
He said before walking out and Nandini widen her eyes and Manik could not stop laughing looking at Nandini's expression

Why didn't you correct him
She whined but secretly her heart was thumping just at the mere thought of being Mrs Malhotra

Manik asked going through the menu

He raised his brows and she nodded her head vigorously excited for biryani

A waiter came there and took their order

She said dreamily

And within a few minutes the food was there on the table and Manik himself served it to her while Nandini kept on eyeing the food like a Cheshire cat

Nandini savoured it and Manik felt satisfied even without eating anything just by looking at her happy face

Suddenly his knuckles turned white in rage as his mind drifted to the guy named Warren. Some one needed to be taught a lesson and he knew this guy was meant to be treated the correct way
